Story Stream: 12/5 - 12/11
Hello friends! Well, if the last Story Stream was a marathon, then this one is a sprint. It's been a very busy week, and it will likely be this way till the end of the year as I spend time trying to get caught up before 2022 gets here. So this one should be a breeze! Here are the few things I actually streamed this week!

MOVIES
Santa's Boots (2018)
I mean, it is exactly as bad as you would expect it to be. It may even exceed expectations (in the wrong direction). They left no cliche unturned in this one: main characters named Nick and Holly, a happy break-up just in time to fall in love, a failing family business, a successful daughter who isn't sure she can get away from work for the holidays... all the hits. I hated every minute of it. (I know, because I also watched every minute of it). What can I say? I'm a glutton for punishment. Streaming on Lifetime. (2/10 - Not Recommended)
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
NOW HEAR THIS: IF YOU HAVE NOT YET BEEN TO THEATERS TO SEE THIS MOVIE, STOP READING NOW AND GO BUY TICKETS. Friends, no exaggeration: this has been hands-down my favorite movie of 2022. Everything about it. They got EVERYTHING about it EXACTLY right. This exceeded my expectations in the very best way. I cannot overstate how much I loved this movie, or how excited I am to go see it a second time in theaters. Absolute must-see.. Currently in theaters. (?1010 - Most Highly Recommended)

PODCASTS
Believe Her - "Chapter 1: Chris Is Dead"
This is a really, really interest take on true crime. I had mixed feelings about the execution, but the concept is very strong. It's a heartbreaking episode, and part of a heartbreaking story. While the host irked me a bit here and there, it wasn't enough to make me lost interest in the show. I'm very likely to actually continue on with this series. Streaming on the various podcast listening apps. (8/10 - Strongly Recommended)

And there it is: the finish line. I told you this one was a sprint! I really debated just listing Ghostbusters: Afterlife over and over so I could tell you about every nostalia-rich moment that I loved. But, alas. Maybe after I see it a few more times!
Anyway, as always, I'd love, love, love to hear from you! What are you watching, reading, listening to that I should work into the next couple weeks! Let me know!
More soon!
