Forging the Road Ahead - Plans for 2026
Hey everyone,
As we roll into 2026, I wanted to take a moment to share where I’d love to take this whole journey next. Life has definitely sped up on my end - in a big way - which makes these goals ambitious. But honestly? They also feel necessary.
The biggest focus for 2026: community
We’re already 240+ patrons strong, and on top of that there’s a growing Discord where a lot of you are hanging out. That feels like something special waiting to happen. I’d love for this to become more than just “creator → content → download,” and instead turn into a place where we actually know each other, talk games, share ideas, and build real connections around the table
Second big goal: a better mobile experience
I want browsing maps to feel good on phones and tablets - whether you’re quickly checking something before a session or just casually exploring the library on the couch. Making the site truly mobile-friendly is high on the list.
On the map-making front:
Finishing Chapter 3 of Descent Into Avernus - that’s 5 full maps to wrap up.
Continuing work on The Shattered Obelisk maps - a massive project that’s very much a long-term endeavor.
Expanding Legends Vault as I go with the map making
And of course, more original maps, because that creative itch never really goes away.
One more thing I’m really excited about:
Expanding support to Owlbear Rodeo - a super lightweight, friendly VTT that works beautifully with animated battlemaps. I’d love to make it easier for more tables to use these maps without heavy setup.
If you’ve been walking this road with me already - thank you. And if you’re just joining now, I hope you’ll stick around. There’s a lot more ahead, and I’d genuinely love to keep building this world together, one map and one session at a time.
Let’s see where the next stretch of the journey takes us.
Cheers!

Lets go!!! We are playing The Shattered Obelisk now and just entered your Wave echo cave map on Monday. My players love it. I printed and painted a bunch of mushrooms for the fungus room. It was epic using your map, mushroom terrain and minis. Looking forward to maps that go further into the campaign. Thank you for what you do and love using your freaking amazing maps!!! Cheers, Jeff
Sounds awesome! And yes - maybe I don't mention this enough - the maps can be printed. Ofcourse! Thanks for being here, Jeff!
