November Wrap-Up
Oh wow… what a month. Probably the most chaotic November of my entire life. I won’t go into the personal side too much — I think most of you already caught the updates in my posts and Quips. Let’s just say life suddenly hit fast-forward… but honestly? That’s probably a good thing. Somehow I’ve become super efficient, grabbing every tiny pocket of free time while the baby sleeps and squeezing in map work whenever I can.
On the mapping front, Indigo Sanctum finally wraps up the Shattered Obelisk chapter — and yes, I know, I still need to assemble everything neatly into a Foundry module and pack the files properly. It’s all waiting for me on the to-do list.
I also decided to update the logo — you’ve probably noticed already. My previous one, while beautiful and simple, ended up looking a bit too similar to another animated battlemaps creator. And I figured it’s better to avoid confusion before it ever becomes a problem. So… new logo era!
Another new thing: I created a dynamic, automatically refreshing list of everyone who has been supporting me for a long time. It updates every month and I love how it turned out. You’ll find the link below.
And… winter is coming, so of course I jumped into a map with a snowy, cozy Humblewood-style vibe — also because quite a few of you asked for a tavern/inn map. This one will take me a bit longer, definitely into December, but it’s shaping up to be one of those extra detailed, extra pretty maps. Last update post
Finally — something for the Legends tier: early “beta maps.” These are ultra-early, playable versions of maps that are still rough around the edges — and some of them might never appear in the final release for other tiers. This is a test benefit for now, but I finally feel like Legends has something truly unique. Post
December will be all about finishing the tree-tavern map… and who knows, maybe even a small original holiday map. I’m also planning a light refresh of the website to make it more comfortable on mobile devices.
Thank you all — Patrons, followers, everyone cheering from the sidelines. And a SPECIAL shout-out to all Champions, whose names are featured on the artwork in this post. You’re amazing.
Cheers!
