Making of: Rainhill Mansion - dining room timelapse
Hey there folks!
Hope y'all have a great weekend! Yesterday I finally had some time to work on my next map: Rainhill Mansion. The map was previously built in DungeonFog so I've placed it as a blueprint for my construction in UE5.
Most of the time I spent looking for proper assets like carpets, bookshelfs, other stuff, but I think I got them all now, so the bulding should go faster now.
The dining room still needs some final touches and then I can jump to another parts of the mannor. There's a lot of work to do, as it's only the first floor (hopefully there'll be 2) and yard, so you have the full experience. Also it is my first complex building I do in Unreal Engine, so it can take a while.
What do you think about me posting here timelapses? Do you think it's a good idea? You can always put some suggestions in the comments!
As always thanks for your support! I cannot express how I appreciate your contribution!
Cheers!

Hello! I had a question about the lost mines module ; as I couldn't find anywhere how to make the map appears when the module is enabled/installed!
Hi Orla! Yup, it's a bit contraintuitive in Foundry and may be confusing. Go to Compendium Packs from the main in-game menu (you got scenes, items, journal there). There should be Lost Mines pack if the mod is installed. All you need to do is to right click and select import all. :) Let me know if that worked. Thanks!
It is really cool to see the level of craftsmanship that goes into 3d maps. It takes a lot more time to build and design than the 2d variant. Thank you for posting to show us your work in progress. I, personally, really enjoy watching how someone creates. It helps fuel my own creativity.
