Cobbler Crackdown - Applying to the Clown Council

I'm furious. This used to be a real country.
I remember people saying during Trump's first term, before I'd started making Youtube videos, that it was hard to write satire under a Trump administration. I thought that was an absurd idea. But, honestly? Yeah.
I'm not sure what future the Crackdown has, but I can say, at least, that the last one I did was a big disappointment and I'm much happier with this one. I would have hated to end on that last note. I'd like there to be some eventual payoff to the Council of Clowns thing, but I'm not sure what that would look like.
The Crackdown was always meant to be a casual little diversion from the serious stuff, and I've been surprised to see it garner such a devoted following on the channel. Those that love the Crackdown REALLY love it, and it feels nice to reward those people even if I often suspect I'm disappointing them. They will always be a side project.
Of course, this hasn't been the only thing occupying my time since the Blood Meridian video.
The prospect of riding around the Southwest, filming on-location for the long-awaited Geronimo video is intimidating, to put it lightly. Filming outdoors is a big ENOUGH problem, but I also want to camp and I plan on taking my motorcycle this time. I'll provide a video explaining some of the complexities later. Unlike Big Bend, I anticipate that many of the locations I want to use will have PEOPLE. I genuinely detest the idea of bothering someone on vacation.
For now: expect my history of the Karankawa near the beginning of June. I'm going to stir up some local controversy surrounding a statue in Rockport, Texas.

Really looking forward to the Geronimo video. As you've said before, we want to learn about the mad ramblins of dead men; that's what makes history tangible. Your videos on Diego de Landa and the the Account of Cabeza De Vaca kicked off an almost 2 year interest is central / North American history, to the point that I've joined archeological groups.
