Skilled PC Mod (TS4)
Lot51's Core Mod v1.35 REQUIRED!!!!
I was so tired of using books to skill my sims up, and they can only gain skills from doing homework with my mod so many times, so I decided to add skills to learn on the computer. Since 90% of my households have computers pretty early on in the game, I figured that would be the best bet.
So sims will sit and study on the computer longer then when they read books. Also, there are a variety of skills to choose from! And all of this does not cost anything, it is free to study these skills!
More skills will be added as more become available with packs. If you have any skill requests that I did not add, let me know and I will add them! I left out a few minor ones I will never use, but that does not mean someone else won’t want it!

Edit 07/30/2023: Added new skills from Horse Ranch and some missed skills from other packs and fixed the pie menus that were borked. Yay! Also changed the requirement from the xml injector to lot51's core mod which has so much more to offer. More yay! Please redownload!

Today is the day. Or tonight. I bring you, a complete overhaul of my Skilled PC mod!
First, I changed how the pie menus looked, then added icons like my Skilled HW mod has, and added in the Romance skill from Lovestruck. You will now only see the content for the packs you own too, and your sim will only see the skills they haven't maxed out! Also, I added in some custom skills from other modders! Adult mods and non adult mods alike, with more info and new pictures below. 😊

I have updated this mod so now you can only see the custom skills if you have the corresponding skill mods installed in your game! Sorry about that. Also added Thanatology skill from Life & Death pack!
Also if you haven't already, redownload lot51's core mod for version 1.26.1! My mod now supports only version 1.26 or higher.

Custom Skills included so far by:
Deaderpool (MCCC), TURBODRIVER (Wicked Whims related skills), Basemental (various drug related skills), under Custom Adult Skills, and Brazenlotus (food), frankk (language barriers), icemunmun (food), ilkavelle (swimming), Simsonian Library (mining, perfume, pharmacology), JaneSimsten (various instruments/etiquette/shooting/archery), and Zer0 (job/careers/swimming) under the regular Custom Skills pie menu.
You can request in the comments other modders' skills if you would like to and link me to their pages so I can add them too.
The files are now one .zip file with separate packages inside for the custom skills each with the primary package. You need the Skilled PC file and then choose which custom skills you want by creator, depending on which ones you have in your mods folder.

Updated 09/12/2025 for patch 1.117 and Enchanted by Nature EP skills! Readded Zer0, BrazenLotus, and icemunmun back into the .zip file, I forgot them, then I lost them, then I found them, now all is well. lol Requires version 1.30 of lot51's core mod!
Updated 09/27/2025 to add skills by Simsonian Library and ilkavelle along with changing the requirement of lot51's core mod to version 1.35! Please redownload and replace! Compatible with patch 1.118!
Updated 10/05/2025 with Adventure Awaits skills! LOT51's core mod required version 1.35! Still patch 1.118 compatible!

Learning the Tantology on the computer is incredibly slow. When I read the topics in the books, I'm a thousand times faster. Could you take a look at this, please? I've done two study sessions on the computer and haven't even gotten 10%.

Does the time your Sim spend on Study.com count towards the 100 hours needed for the Computer Whiz aspiration? Would be nice to be building these skills at the same time as working on those 100 hours.
I would think so since you’re using the computer but let me test it out and confirm this.
Just FYI, the mod is not working at all with the latest update.

I think the mod is really great, having everything in one place. :) Which values in the mod should I change to be able to learn faster?

Yes it should be under base game skills after your sim unlocks it with the main cooking skill
