Skilled Book->Part of the Skilled Items Series

This all started with Skilled Homework, which led to Skilled PC, which led to this, my Skilled Book mod, which I started in 2021 or so and apparently finally got around to finishing it earlier this summer and now I am uploading it. Lol

Yes I am making this a series now, because why not. What other skilled items do you want your sims to have? Comment below and let me know!

Anyways, here are some pictures of the Skilled Book.

This is the very first book in the bookshelf picker menu, 1 Learn Any Skill Book. It always shows up under the Skill and Nonfiction categories here at the top or in the show all as seen above. Easy to find and low cost at 25 simoleons.

REQUIRED:

Lot51’s Core Mod version 1.35+

It works similar to my Skilled Homework mod, but it is for all ages starting with children and up to elder.

That is it for now!

This is for patch 1.110 and has all skills up to and including Life & Death skills.

You will only see the skills for whatever packs you own! So if you do not have Life & Death you will not see the pie menu option for it, nor will you see Thanatology.

Note: You need to put both files in your mods folder! Unzip and place them both directly in your mods folder or a subfolder within the mods folder. No other requirements and it should NOT conflict with anything, it is all custom tuning!

03/13/2025: Updated for Business & Hobbies EP!

Updated 09/12/2025 for patch 1.117! Lot51's core mod v1.35 required!

So I got a request to recolor this book so it stands out better and is easier to find. Then I decided it needed some text and Simlish words on it. Then I found Komorebi Style Font and made two versions of my mod now. LOL.

Also made it findable in buildbuy mode as a regular item under storage->bookshelves. No need for debug now! So now you can have it via a bookshelf or buildbuy mode. Yay!

Added the original image for the books (EA's book picture as seen in the first screenshots above) in case anyone wanted it to be plain. It is the one labeled Plain! Nothing else has changed though.

Updated 10/05/2025 with Adventure Awaits skills! LOT51's core mod required version 1.35! Still patch 1.118 compatible!
