It's comedy is good but they definitely had half an idea, it falls off a cliff in the third act 🥱 And it's definitely gonna be Jude for Cap Marvel 😆 I wonder if either will recognize the bad guy from Rogue One (you guys need to watch Andor on Hannah's channel btw, it's phenomenal)

Hey Ash, i think you can skip the next Ant man marvel movie. Its not necessary for the rest of the movies since they got rid of that super villain over a scandal for the new Dr. Doom. You dont need it for the marvel series, and you arent missing anything. This is technically the last ant man you needed

In general, I get why people hate on this one, but I think people forget that (IMO) this was meant to be sort of a comedic 'palate cleanser,' if you will, because of the emotional Infinity War. The fact that the villain wasn't the best (more of like an Anti-hero, really), in my opinion, was intentional. Especially considering they planned for this one to come out after Infinity Ware and before Endgame. Why would they introduce a new villain or try to up the ante at this stage? In the previous movie the world/universe already ended (half of it anyway). i have a lot more points to make, but I don't want to spoil anything for Hannah, so I'll come back and edit this later. i'm with Hannah on this, Ash is making this movie sound like it's ultra terrible or something, it's not! but i do understand the frustration from Ash. because you are basically forced to watch it in between some truly brilliant movies, so it's in human nature to immediately compare them, and then it de-values Ant Man and the Wasp. having said that, it's just a funny movie that is important for the Infinity Saga story, and i love a lot of characters in it, especially that friend who talks fast and the policeman Woo. but you are right in that it really.... doesn't have a story, does it? :/ no good villains and doesn't really get you at the edge of the seat. i'm with you both on that. also, the design of Ava's suit is just lazy :/ not trying to be harsh, but it's really underwhelming. when you make a list of all the Infinity Saga movies, this one would be somewhere at the bottom for a lot of people (myself included, even tho i think it's fine). on to Captain Marvel, i am actually very excited about that one! i like it quite a lot better than this one, let's gooooo! :)

This movie is very underrated imo. It’s not the best MCU movie but it is quite funny and a good laugh which is still a good time. I don’t think it deserves to be called “bad” at all as it does its job of being a fun filler movie very well

I know this movie is not… great. But it sets up so many integral elements for endgame. It just sucks that we cannot have a good Ant-Man movie. Also I loved how Hannah literally pitched the plot of the third film hahaha. Be nice to captain marvel for me please. I love Academy award winner Brie Larson. Also I love how you think nobody ever has these romantic moments where you can see on peoples faces how much they love each-other when we see you and hannah looking at each-other that way all the time.

I will not stand for Ant Man slander 😤 This is not a bad movie. Is the plot weak? Yes. BUT! Ant Man is a character driven comedy and it is brilliant in that aspect. I understand being frustrated because youre ready to get into Endgame, but if you can look at this as a standalone film you'll be much happier ☺️

Enjoyed the reaction! This isn't a particularly good MCU movie, but it has plenty of fun moments. I love the dynamic between Ash and Hannah, that's why I keep coming back to these top notch reactions. That being said, after the intro, Ash was laughing and enjoying the movie on the surface for a while, which I know doesn't necessarily mean he actually thinks it's good. About 2/3 through the film he started trashing it as being worthless, it became nails on a chalkboard. There are a handful of MCU movies or TV shows that are poor quality with painful writing, this isn't one of them, it just has a mediocre plot. I really hope that isn't constantly happening during the Captain Marvel watch along. We're aware of his opinion, be specific if he has an issue with a scene or choice, don't just say this sucks, that sucks, she sucks. That is not good content. Genuinely love yall's reactions or I wouldn't take the time to listen or give this critique. You're both hilarious and honesty about your opinion is essential, just consider how it is for a viewer of your reaction if the take is black and white "this is terrible" again and again. Just calibrate that, be specific and you're good!
