This is a fun movie that’s essentially a parody of “It’s a Wonderful Life”, it has both some side splitting hilarious moments, as well as some surprisingly good dramatic moral values as well. Now that you’re going into the rabbit hole of Adam Sandler movies, check out the comedies “Billy Madison”, “Happy Gilmore”, “The Waterboy”, and “Big Daddy”. For his more dramatic side “Spanglish”, “Punch Drunk Love” are great too, but the one film you gotta see him in is “Uncut Gems”. His best performance. Kate Bekinsale is best known for her role in the Underworld franchise. Think Twilight if it was an action movie. The dad was played by Henry Winkler, best known as The Fonz from “Happy Days”, and David Hasslehoff is best known for his role as Micheal Knight in “Knight Rider”.

If you think you’ll never cry at an Adam Sandler movie, I challenge you to watch The Cobbler.

The bulldog he brought home at the end was homage to his actual English Bulldog named Meatball! Such a heartwarming detail as Meatball passed away in 2004 before this movie.

This the film I can only watch once in a while; im not built to cry that much all the time 🤍. SYMBOLISTIC SUGGESTIONS: • The Color Purple (the same way Ash cried in Forrest Gump is the same way he’ll cry in this one + Symbolism GALORE 💜💜💜) • The Help (Ash and Hannah will LOVE this and cuss the movie out. Plus Viola Davis AND Octavia Spencer?!?! 😮‍💨👏🏽) • DreamGirls (Hannah will love cause of Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson in her first film AND she got an academy award 👏🏽; Ash will love cause of Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy and it might make him cry forreal) • Hidden Figures (BOTH of yall will cry, and Ash? Mahershala Ali is in it 😁👏🏽)
