Chapter 5 - Part 3: Week 8 Progress

Hey homies,

Although the progress bar seems like it's crawling, I've actually gotten a lot finished this week, and I'm very excited about how things are shaping up. I don't know how to discuss anything without spoilers, so I won't say anything specific. However, I can safely say that there should be something for everyone in this chapter's conclusion.

Section 9 is shaping up to be some of my best work yet, or at least what I'm most proud of, so far. Mind you, this is after only seeing it slowly grow during production, though I'm hoping it'll be even more impressive after everything is edited and assembled. In truth, it's hard to tell exactly how far along section 9 truly is. I've taken a new approach and have been improvising a lot of the scenes as they unfold. It's making things go a fair bit faster, but it also makes it a little harder to predict a timeline. Regardless, this should be the densest scene by a wide margin, so the other sections should be much faster to complete.

I was still juggling a few ideas with the last two sections, but I finally locked down some solid plans for them, and some decent titles to boot. I also managed to trim down another extremely bloated scene in exchange for something that is not only going to be much easier to render, but will hopefully be much more narratively impactful as well. 

Whoops.. That's a bit of a long report, so I'll leave things here.
