Chapter 5 - Part 2: Week 25 Progress

Hey all,

Another week down, and although I'm behind my initial estimates, I'm still very happy with my progress this week. If everything goes well, I'm still hoping for a late February release, but I imagine that even if things go poorly, a mid-march release on the next update still seems like the further end of the estimated timeline.

I'm still not quite finished with the second last scene for section 8, but this character has been difficult to work with. Thankfully, I only have another dozen or so renders remaining to (hopefully) wrap it up for good. I still need to assemble and script a large chunk of it, but lately, it's been a lot easier to accomplish that when I have all the visual pieces ready to go.

It's been a while, and I don't remember the last time I mentioned it, but since I don't expect everyone to read each and every progress report, I've added another small addition to the progress image above. It's nothing major, but I hope the little '***' sections will help anyone who missed the information know that the update isn't too far away in the grand scheme.

In Subscriber news: I soft-launched the idea this past week on a whim, and it feels right, so I wanted to make it official! In instances such as this past week, where I release silver and gold-tier posts that mirror each other, I'll be adding at least one extra render to the gold-tier version. The official tier descriptions will be changed to reflect this in the very near future.
