Case 351: Neelma, Kunal & Sidhi Singh
On April 22 2003, Queensland police arrived at a suburban home in Brisbane’s Bridgeman Downs to find a confronting scene. Three siblings, Neelma, Kunal and Sidhi Singh, had been killed while their parents were overseas, their bodies left in a spa bath with the taps running. Detectives quickly honed in on Neelma’s ex-boyfriend, Max Sica, but according to Max, the real suspect was much closer to home.

First time I’ve been disappointed in the writing of a Casefile episode (huge fan and supporter and hoping this is constructive feedback!). Even if you think Max is involved / generally a terrible person, which I do, there are genuinely multiple serious problems with the case against him, yet this is written as a pretty straightforward narrative..?! Even presenting that laughable ‘foot print analysis’ as a legit experiment without at least pointing out the problems with using ‘evidence’ like that in court - rly confused by this episode.
99.999% of the time, it’s the suspect with a criminal record
I caught the school bus with Sidhi. She was such a happy girl. There was so much to this story that I didn't know.
Great episode!
If only the stage 4 tumor was legit the world would be a better place
Capisce??
was there a mistake in the script at the end? “you always expect to outlive your children”
Oh you’re so right… that doesn’t make sense does it 😅
“Hand relief” was an…interesting part of this one
That’s one way to put it eh? 😅
“Max asked for her father’s blessing to propose to her. Her dad said no, then threatened to smash Max in the face with a brick” well that escalated quickly 😅😅
"Capiche?" 🤦🏾♀️ Bro thought he was Tony Soprano.
Hahahah this had me rolling. Cause why did he randomly start acting like an Italian mobster
Wow.. so he was convicted without any shred of real evidence?
The background music is unnecessary and intrusive loud. Otherwise a great podcast
What background music?
This was a couple of suburbs from me. I remember when this happened. Unreal case.
Oh, I’m also from northern Brisbane and I’ve never heard of this case before 😅
