Seven News Spotlight - Busting the scammers
If you're in Australia, have a look out this evening for "7NEWS Spotlight" - A current affairs documentary which will feature me helping a news crew save some Australian victims in real-time.
The program will be broadcast at 7pm (Australian time) today (Sunday 12th June).

I was told there would be a new episode every week. Not sure which day of the week it's released though.

Been following recent posts and have huge respect for what you do, especially following up with victims, explaining what happened and then confronting the perpetrators.
Watching it now, Jim. Channel 7 is watched by a lot of the target demographic of the scammers, great work on raising awareness.
That's what I was hoping for. I'm always willing to support TV channels (and organisations like the AARP) if it can get the message over. I always give my time freely for these sorts of programs. Thanks to your support on Patreon, I can give my time like this.
Very well done indeed, just watched. If you ever need help Sydney side, drop me a line, got relatives North and South and access to a pool of people who would be willing to help. That 45 minute wait on the HSBC fraud line was a seriously bad joke, the banks help make these frauds possible. I'm going to chase a few contacts at the federal level.
Thanks Keith. Glad you enjoyed it. The 45 minute wait was absolutely ridiculous, but something I've experienced before in other countries and other banks. Hope something positive comes from that at least.

Bizarrely the filming crew didn't do much for Aussie stereotypes. The producer was from Bondi Beach and the present was really into his surfing. But I have to say, they were very cool.
Am watching. So glad you are shining the spotlight on scams so that older Aussies might be able to spot one.

Cool. I haven't turned a TV on in years. Here in Australia it's pretty pathetic, esp the "commercial" stations. But if I remember I'll make an exception in your case.
