Behind the Scenes

It has been more than a month since my last major release, and from the outside it may have looked like very little was happening. In reality, I have spent countless hours working behind the scenes rebuilding and modernizing large parts of my modding framework. It was challenging, sometimes frustrating, and far more time-consuming than I originally expected.

Today, I am finally able to share the results of that work.

Smart Core Script 2.14.0

Large parts of the framework have been redesigned, simplified, and modernized. While many of these changes are not directly visible during gameplay, they provide the foundation for the new features introduced in this release and for future updates across my entire mod collection.

Smart Sim Cheats 4.0.0

The new version has been completely rewritten and now takes full advantage of the new Smart Core Script framework, enabling a wide range of powerful new cheats and tools.

New picker interactions for all Sims, including NPCs:

• Individual trait removal (updated for the latest game patches)

• Bulk removal of traits by category (new)

• Bulk removal of preferences by group (new)

• Remove relationship bits with any Sim (new)

• Select and remove milestones from a Sim (new)

• Select and remove bucks and perks from a Sim (new)

• Remove, max out, or improve skills (including hidden skills) (new)

• Choose new aspirations (including hidden aspirations) (new)

• Modify rankings (Fame, Reputation, Occult Rank, and more) (new)

• Increase or decrease points (Fame Points, Occult Points, etc.) (new)

New immediate interactions and Sim pickers for multiple Sims

• Remove all milestones from a Sim with a single click

• Remove all relationship bits from a Sim with a single click

Smart Sim Randomizer 3.3.0

Smart Sim Randomizer has been updated for the new Core framework and now includes a new configuration option. You can now choose when randomizations are applied:

• On Spawn (default behavior, just like in previous versions) – randomizations are applied when Sims are loaded into the game.

• On Age Up – randomizations are applied only when a Sim transitions to the next life stage.

• Both – randomizations are applied both on load and when aging up.

This gives you more flexibility and control over how and when randomizations are performed in your game.

Skill Class Reloaded v. 3.1.0

The University Skill Class picker has been improved.

• Added a fully categorized Skill Picker menu similar to the one used in Dynasty Add Skill.

• The original EA Skill Class list is no longer completely replaced. Instead, the picker now enhances the skills provided by EA and only organizes them into categories.

• The University Skill Class picker now respects EA's original skill selection rules. Only skills tagged with Skill_University_CanListen will appear in the class list.
