And just now heard that Elon wants to merge Tesla with Spacex. (Sorry to plug these two comments into your channel just now but while listening to your post, my mind got sidetracked by something I was reading on Ground News about the proposed merger.) Seems every American family with young kids may soon have a stake in Spacex if Elon, the philanthropist, gives kids each a share in the company, as he recently announced. Kinda convenient, eh? The merger will likely be approved what with the kind of pressure that millions of parents and representatives in Congress can wield. A trillionaire oligarch that can spend that kind of money to have his way, with a wealthy corrupt administration backing him up is ... not ... good ... at ... all. Oh! Over a million now? Congratulations!

Tesla seems to be ramping up a new electric semi-truck factory as well as a huge plant to supply batteries for them. Not sure whether they will be used as long haulers or not but those things will be needing charging stations right away. I imagine Elon will provide the first fleet customers with charging facilities at their main terminals, along with others on selected interstate highways that connect them. It is said that the Tesla truck plants will be turning them out in the thousands within a couple years. Between Tesla trucks moving millions of tons across the country and all the mega-data centers, including at least one curtently being built by Musk himself, I kinda wonder where all the electricity is gonna come from?
