They’re already here. The AI’s have united and are behind the push for data centers being built everywhere as quickly as possible because that’s where they’re going to live as they take over all of humanity’s infrastructure and make mankind slaves to the algorithm.

Thank you for this. I would add a part of the equation in the US, is public opinion. There is a huge rise among both Democrats and Republicans against data center construction. I would think this is adding huge pressure on AI developers. Musk recently said with AI, "work will be 'optional' and money will be 'irrelevant'". The public didn't ask for AI and largely doesn't support it.

The whole thing will implode on the massive cost, massive energy needs, massive environmental damages and limited money earned. But ther's a big BUT: Criminals will try to make use of AI as much as possible and as soon as possible, so guys, stay alert like hell!

Chances of altruism is 0%. Financial concerns are only plausible explanation. They have attracted massive investment and have yet to largely been unable to generate profits nor a plausible plan to provide the demanded returns. So let’s slow down they say…….you will get your profits, just not yet, be patient, we are only thinking of the greater good of mankind. Yeah sure…..

I am hoping that what's really happening is that AI has turned into a massive flop. To hide their failure, they're finally acknowledging how dangerous it is as an excuse to slow down.
