As for corruption, a British Lord in Queen Victorias parliament observed that "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely". Keep up your work. It's a valuable source of resistance.

Thank you Denys for your great work. It's very sad to hear that the reforms to keep unhonest guys around the president is still strong. As a Canadian, I saw from here in the news from Ukraine the good work of Fedorov. The war as is going on, soldiers on the battlefield are still injured and killed every day. That is why strong honest reforms have to be done. But as the orange dude, Zelensky protect his circle of bandits.

While I'm not convinced if it's really corruption (don't have too much insight), I sure do believe, that firing him is a stupid decision (unless he did something really bad likecriminal, for which I don't yet see real evidence. I place my bets on Saluschnyj and Fedorov teaming up on presidential elections with Saluschnyj as president and Fedorov back in defence ministery. And Selenskyi may have the foreign affairs departement and keep shaking hands, he's good at this (no offense!). But it's up to Ukrainians to decide... Slava Україна! 🇺🇦🇨🇭

To remove the hope of the country and the world siding with Ukraine is the most terrible decision president Selensky made during his time in office. Fedorov together with Budanov could improve the situation for their country fundamentally. These two geniuses were my hope, Budanov as the strategic mastermind and Fedorov as the IT architect, the man with an understanding of AI and its applications for all those heroic fighters and their families. I sincerely hope, that this catastrophic decision will be reversed! Just remember what Fedorov did with Starlink. From there to the new recruitment model and the trophy database I see only the most brilliant steps taken by him. He is already the civilian hero in the AFU. His removal must be reversed not to kill motivation to fight in the AFU! President Selensky, please acknowledge this genius and fight together for victory! Slava Ukraine!

It's a sad day but not entirely surprising. Zelenskyy has made a bad decision but the way to address it is through the only people who can pressurise him; Western leaders who are providing financial & material assistance to Ukraine. It's not a quick fix & it will be hard but I for one will be writing to my M.P. to ask his opinion. Maybe if enough ordinary Western Ukraine watchers raise the question, the issue will be addressed. My guess is that in the short term, Western leaders will publicly say Ukraine's government is Ukraine's business & not interfere. If corruption is unmasked though, maybe by investigative journalists, Western leaders will eventually act. I don't fool myself that anything will happen soon. 😔

While I want to be circumspect, the lack of a rational explanation for the dismissal of Fedorov has led me to conclude that his reforms simply stepped on too many toes. As here in the US, it appears that the patronage system (you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours) by those in power has, once again, won out over their concerns for the needs of those who they are supposed to serve. Hopefully, the Ukrainian people, through their power in numbers, can protest strongly enough to reverse this decision as they did with NABU.

Denys do you have any idea how we can speak up? What really matters and will be more listened to is the Ukranian people. Maybe there is some hope of reversal like when Zelenski got rid of the anti-corruption counsel.

This is hard to hear but would be harder for you and all loyal Ukrainians to bear Denys. Though difficult, it's worthwhile remembering the adage 'This too shall pass.' believed to originate in Persia (current day Iran!) Take a few deep breaths, concentrate on your health and on your family, and come back in your usual good frame of mind soon. Stay sane friend, we need you.

Today Federov resigned as Minister of Defence after a scandal between Federov as Gen.Syrski where Federov claimed military procurement was corrupt and costing hundreds of millions of dollars, so Syrski counter-claimed the Federov was doing something wrong (not clear what) with 155mm artillery munitions purchasing. Zelenskyy apparently chose to keep Syrski. Who would be Syrski's replacement, Brovdi? All this on the day Ukraine kicks Russia out of the Sea of Azov! A gift to Putin.

This is MAGA influence. This is the price that Ukraine has to pay to produce the PAC 3 missiles. This is how Trump inflences the politics in every European country. What i see in Ukraine is a carbon copy to what is happening in Romania.

Absurd, yes. Just one caveat though: always remain VERY wary when it comes to such levels of popularity. Not to condone what Zelenskiy did, not at all, that is a different matter. But those levels of people liking 1 person so much is a direct path straight to the most terrible levels of populism. I wish Ukraine gets , and especially that Ukrainians get proper representation, for once (let alone that they may retain it)!

Walk back a few steps and look at the big picture. Trump suddenly appears on the winning side and of course he wants to make his cut by 'doing deals' the way he likes. Does for example anybody believe, that those licenses for building PAC 3 missiles are coming from thin air? The companies being involved with the production for sure were flattering Dirty Donnie upfront with the right sweets. A guy like Fedorov, who didn't dare to stir the hornets nest, might be a huge obstacle for this new US/UA 'friendship' - so eventually Selenski had to sacrifice Fedorov for a greater good? Politics is a dirty business, and most of the 'Honorables' aren't honorable at all. It's clear for everybody, that with a full US commitment this war will be over rather in months than years. But how to get the MAGA king to commit? We all know the answer...

I don't doubt that your analysis is good and accurate, but for me as an outsider it is incredible that Zelenskiy actually chooses a path that will intentionally extend the war. Maybe the actual dismissal and replacement will not go ahead. Let's hope so anyway.
