Evermore Park preview

There are one or two spots that still need visuals dropped in or changed but here's the first chunk of the Evermore Park video! I think the completed video will probably be around 90 minutes.
Also warning, I'm telling the story chronologically in this vid so if you google this park for more information you will definitely get spoilers about some of the weirdest aspects as like the first result

The Theranos sponsorship of Ripper Cove should have been a dead giveaway.
Could you imagine living somewhere promoting a big theme park based expansion and you see Jenny Nicholson filming content in your front yard? You’d be crushed.
Salt Lake City resident here, I corroborate this.
@Jenny; it may be fun to mention that the CCO of Evermore at the time of the park opening was himself a former Disney Imagineer
Evermore?! More like Nevermore. It's not often these days that one can use a Poe inspired put down.
I have all the ramble videos and other patron only videos in a list on my Youtube channel (a private list). Lately it seems that all of them are now private and I can't view them except the most recent one. Has anyone else experienced this? There are a few rambles or other Patreon exclusives (like the MLP song) that I like to go back to but can't seem to access them anymore.
They've all moved to a new channel (with playlist embedding disabled) but you can still reach them here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/ramble-video-48198277 (Or click on Jenny's name at the top of any post and the masterlist is pinned to the top)
did they straight up use a Thomas Kinkaid painting to illustrate the English garden? they're all kinda in that style but I swear that one looks like it might actually BE one
Already learning way more than I ever knew about Evermore from this preview. I had no idea those VR experiences were the same person behind Evermore. I do remember however the project going through the "gardens" version of the pitch. That's the first version of their website I remember seeing and was super confused because I was googling it thinking it was a theme park. I'm glad you're connecting the dots since finding the answers to my confused questions was a bit beyond me at the time.
I wish this video came out before we took our summer vacation to Bedrock City! Now I know where we’re going next year!!
I remember when the advertisements for this started coming out. And it looked so so cool and I really wanted to go. The idea of basically having a gigantic LARP session with strangers just seemed totally up my alley.
The link to watch on YouTube doesn’t do anything when I try to select it
The backstory is already crazier than I expected, I love this. But I will spend my day haunted by questions as to what, precisely, is the difference between "English Garden" and "Victorian Garden," how are those not the same garden, how did the Blue Sky phase of garden development settle on those two, what happened.... Then later, when darkness sets in and all is quiet... my mind will drift back to morbid dread about what the "bathroom experience" would have been.
Maybe the English Garden recreates London in the 1970s
I really think a lot of these tech bro millionaires are guys that got lucky with a good idea. But because they made a ton of money suddenly they decide they are business geniuses. But often, like with this guy you soon see the difference between a got lucky once millionaire compared to the likes of Walt Disney who have a vivid imagination but actually knew how to turn it into reality.
I agree. Also, the vast majority of them had rich relatives or trust funds because most of us can't get a few million to start a company or risk taking several years of our lives on something that no matter how good it is may fail for reasons out of one's control.
Aragog has the most expressive eyes!
Is anyone else getting a video unavailable error message? It’s 8:45am est on June 27th *shrug*
Yeah, I’m getting that too.
YAYYY so excited n_n
Getting an error that this can only be watched on YouTube
Best thing to wake up to!!
I love the level of detail Jenny crams into these videos; you find yourself being drawn into the subject matter more than you think you'll be at first. It also adds a lot of rewatchability, as there's always something new to focus on during subsequent viewings. Excited for the full video!
I'm so hyped for the full video!
That was an amazing preview! Really looking forward to this deep dive. Also the look is really cool and the “vlog” style inserts very refreshing!
Have you ever considered serializing your uploads into part 1, part 2, etc? I know nothing about YT minutiae so for all I know it could be a bad thing for your channel but its just something that occurred to me
I have a vague recollection from one of her Ramble videos that she doesn't do it because she thinks it's disfavoured by the algorithm. Wouldn't have occurred to me either but, as you say, we're not the experts.
Super excited about this, I had wanted to go a few years ago but even the website it looks a lot different now than what I remember seeing. Can't wait to get all that sweet, sweet theme park history!
I kind of love this guy’s attitude about Pirates of the Caribbean. You just know he has a much longer rant about not being able to get off the ride and explore.
I just noticed the flower crown on Aragog 🥺
As a fan of the novels myself, I recognize fellow readers of the 'Dream Park' series when I see them (immersive VR, high tech storytelling and role play, etc). Too bad that - based on the video so far - it looks like they couldn't engage in any selectivity or focus.
I've never been to a theme park, but this preview makes this one sound really fun. Next time I get some vacation time, I'll have to sit around and fantasize that it exists and I can go there.
This is so tantalising! Can't go wrong with a story that begins with an eccentric millionaire with a pet project.
That guy is really proud of the idea that you're gonna get off the boat.
lol that top hat guy was sort of aggressive also lol that hotel window I can't wait for the rest it's really great so far!
I'm excited!
I'm so excited! That preview left me so on the hook for more.
This means my first YouTube credit is coming!
Mine too!!
Numbered lists!
Easily digestible!
