This video came up while browsing through recent uploads and I was so confused. I was surprised that you were so gung-ho about wanting to attend Star Wars night after what happened with the Hotel 😂😂😂

Really excited for the mystery lodge video. Looking forward to it.

I've used the Disability Pass for Pandora, but then I didn't see any sign that there was going to be tons of flashing lights at the beginning of the Soarin' ride-system ride. The Banshee one. So that was chill. I didn't enjoy that surprise.

I'm so glad you didn't die of coronaaaa <3

Halfway through and reminded of once going to the NightLife event at California Academy Sciences in SF. Hope that comes back someday! https://www.calacademy.org/nightlife

you're not allowed to dress up? what are the restrictions?

I haven't ever seen any lands before times and I think the only place I've heard about it before this ramble was this what-if: https://what-if.xkcd.com/65/ For me LBT is one of these exotic (one might say "whimisical") things you have over there. So I'd love seeing a video about it! Also glad you're feeling better!

K
KelBell · April 20, 2020

Glad you're feeling better! I'm definitely ready for LBT.

J
JoAnna Black · April 16, 2020

Glad to hear you're feeling better!!! What a weird time we're all going through! LBT video sounds A+

E
Eric Liuu · April 9, 2020

I like the PC setup because I can imagine it's Jenny's ghost talking about random stuff.

S
Shaun Cheah · April 9, 2020

Bold of you to assume she is capable of death.

A
Ash Green · April 8, 2020

Definitely think you’re gonna make ranking Land Before Time movies engaging in a way nobody else can. But I am the only one who doesn’t know what Swan Princess is?

A
Amy Shine · April 5, 2020

I am happy you’re feeling better- and very excited for the land before time video!

C
Christiana Oatman · April 5, 2020

So relieved to hear you're feeling better! I live in Oakland, and I think the Children's Fairyland adults only event is only once a year. Loved this video, can't wait to relive my childhood by hearing about Land Before Time and its horrendous thirteen sequels.

S
Shaun Cheah · April 6, 2020

Excuse you, The Lone Dinosaur and The Big Big Big Big Water will not be slandered in this manner. There were eleven horrendous sequels, and two pretty okay ones.

B
Bryan W. Van Norden · April 5, 2020

So glad you are feeling better!

D
David Gallagher · April 5, 2020

I really enjoyed your interview style on millenial falcon.

Q
Qui-Gon Slut · April 4, 2020

I'm glad you've started to feel better! But really, don't worry about having to take time to recover. Your health is important, and I'd much rather watch a classic Jenny Nicholson TM video knowing you're doing alright.

L
Luis · April 4, 2020

Oh man my first viewing of the ramble was on my phone at like 4am so I thought the thing behind Jenny's chair was a weird new giant plush. Just watched again on my TV and now I see it's another chair haha oops!

J
JoeySnowyNoey · April 3, 2020

Glad your feeling better. The Land Before Time video sounds great honestly! Lol I’m pretty sure we had two and four on VHS and I just watched them over and over as a kid.

A
Amanda · April 2, 2020

I grew up with the Land Before Time and Swan Princess movies- I'm excited for both rankings! (Especially stoked for a potential Swan Princess one- I feel like no one else I know watched those movies and looking back now they are so bizarre, but I have fond nostalgia all the same. Also there were 9 of them??)

S
Shiny Skunk · April 2, 2020

Hooray, I'm so glad you're feeling better and here to soundtrack my work day with another ramble! Thanks, Jenny!

S
Shiny Skunk · April 2, 2020

Also, I'd watch the shit out of a Land Before Time video, sounds like exactly the kind of thing you do well, talking about slightly obscure goofy stuff.

L
Lawrence Whiteside · April 2, 2020

Such an intelligent person. You don't need to be productive bc of us, but I'm looking forward to the LBT video.

L
Laura · April 2, 2020

Glad to hear you're feeling better! I'm really excited about the idea of the Swan Princess video. I used to watch the first one on repeat as a kid and I was incredibly amused a few years ago when I found out how many sequels there were. I think your take on them would be really fun to watch.

N
Nikki Smith · April 2, 2020

I’m glad you’re feeling better! Having asthma and getting ill right now is terrifying. I’m really glad you’re on the mend. Also all your ideas sound interesting to me. I look forward to whatever you put out next. I’m sad that the Knotts video has to wait, though, because it sounds amazing. I really enjoy your theme park videos, despite the fact I haven’t been to Disney in like thirty years, when I was a very young kid. Lol. I’d love to go, so I live vicariously through your videos.

K
Kynan Clarke-Chancellor · April 2, 2020

HELL YEAH I CAN'T WAIT FOR BIG BIG BIG BIG WATER!

J
Jim LaVelle · April 2, 2020

So glad you are feeling better!

p
protondonor · April 2, 2020

Ranking Land Before Time movies sounds awesome. I am also very excited for the inevitable Knott's Berry Farm content, as someone who has a lot of memories going there as a kid.

T
Torie W. · April 2, 2020

Oh my god I literally live across the street from Fairyland! It was very bizarre to hear it come up and I'm definitely going to check out any charity events whenever we are freed.

E
Ezra Tillman · April 2, 2020

I love the Land Before Time ranking!

m
mollying · April 2, 2020

Jenny, you've mentioned this phenomenon of people going to Disneyland every single day a couple times now. I'm absolutely fascinated by this. Is there, like, an article I can read about the lives of these people?

C
Chris Reifsteck · April 2, 2020

wait, how does evacuating pirates work? Also it sounds like Jenny was spared by the animatronics that spooky night because they knew how much she respected them.

D
Danielle Palazzolo · April 1, 2020

The Swan Princess one sounds interesting, so def look into it.

S
Suse Zink Diesel · April 1, 2020

Glad you are feeling better Jenny! Land Before Time and Swan Princess videos both sound awesome!

J
Josh Swafford · April 1, 2020

So glad you’re feeling better! I am PSYCHED for your Land Before Time video but I’m a little apprehensive about a Swan Lake video. I feel like half the fun of a ranking video is familiarity with the source material and being able to play along with the ranker. While I feel like the average person has seen/knows The Land Before Time, I feel like Swan Lake stans probably comprise a very segmented portion of the population so I’m not sure if interest will be there as it would for the other video simply because people don’t have strong enough feelings on the rankings. Personally I would prefer that funny YouTube video or bad movie video, but you have surprised me in the past with niche content. So if you feel the content is there, ignore my comments and go for it! :)

D
Daniel Anderson · April 1, 2020

I appreciate how much of this video is Jenny dunking on haters. EDIT: I should have waited to make a comment until the end of the video, "SHOW HIM YOUR EYES" is an all-time great move.

S
Steve Ray · April 6, 2020

D

B
Becca · April 1, 2020

J
John Friedrich · April 1, 2020

If you're ever in the mood for a middle-of-nowhere amusement park instead of a theme park, I highly recommend Knoebels Amusement Resort in central Pennsylvania. It has the best aspects of amusement parks and county fairs rolled into one, great coasters and great food.

Z
Zoe Nielsen · April 1, 2020

Also have the 'rona and your content and tweets have seriously helped me.

D
Darren Pierce · April 1, 2020

All those topics sound like great quarantine entertainment, and thanks for an hour of park babbling -- it's weirdly comforting and familiar in these times.

E
Emilia Salcido · April 1, 2020

If you want a long series of movie with mediocre quality, I suggest all the Barbie movies. Glad you're feeling better!

S
Steve Ray · April 1, 2020

How about "a long-tailed cat at an outdoor rocking-chair / landmine expo"?

L
Leland Goodman · April 1, 2020

Ohhh my goodness I've been so excited for the Star Wars video... but... the Swan Princess and Land Before Time series are the B (C?) rank movies I had on repeat as a kid, and I think they need representation in the internet nostalgia deconstruction landscape

B
Brandon Beasley · April 1, 2020

So glad you're feeling better Jenny! You look and sound very healthy. We are all very grateful for you, too. All the best!

J
Jay Taylor · April 1, 2020

We love you Jenny. It was a huge relief when you started feeling better. <3

D
Dee Crosier · April 1, 2020

I’m glad you’re feeling better, and ready to make videos again, though I certainly think you’re entitled to a little “sick leave” during a global pandemic! Googling photos of Fairyland really reminded me of Blackgang Chine (supposedly the UK’s oldest theme park), which I think you’d really enjoy if you ever came over here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackgang_Chine I’d never heard of the “Swan Princess” before, and was a little shocked to hear you say there are nine of them (so far)… but the drama surrounding the first movie’s release intrigues me, so I’m looking forward to hearing your take on it. And thank you once again for the Twitch streams… despite your “contempt” for the concept of VODs, I’m enjoying them immensely. :)

S
Sinead Kelleher · April 1, 2020

Glad you're feeling well :) Swan Princess was the movie that I could quote line-for-line as a kid, and *exactly* the content that I need in my life right now.

S
Steve Ray · April 1, 2020

Our Hostess Returns -- now THIS is the Great American Resurrection! Welcome back, Jenny!

B
Bryan Sutton · April 1, 2020

I don't suppose you plan on talking about the Pizza Hut commercial with the boy going to the birthday party in your next video, would you? That was always an integral part of my Land Before Time viewing experience growing up.

A
Andyface · April 1, 2020

Glad you're doing better and able to make videos again. Also that you got through all the land before time films 😄 I've seen the first one and maybe the second, but 14 (if that's how many you said there were) I've clearly missed a lot 😂 look forward to knowing which ones are worth watching

R
Rachel Weiss · April 1, 2020

this all sounds great and I'm so glad you're feeling better but ngI would be so hype for a dogs purpose trilogy video if that's still on the table

S
Shaun Cheah · April 1, 2020

Yes, I would also really enjoy that. Looking forward to Ranking All Fourteen Land Before Time Movies but I would be absolutely hyped for An Analysis of The A Dog's Purpose Trilogy.

M
Michael DeBellis · April 1, 2020

It's funny, I haven't been to a theme park since I went to Disneyland in Anaheim as a kid. To give an idea of how long ago that was they still had the original ghost train ride with the rocks that looked like they were about to fall on you. I remember those actually scared me (I was really young). But after watching all of Jenny's videos multiple times I was kind of thinking of giving Star Wars land a shot the next time I visit L.A. I used to work in L.A. (at a computer science research institute) and still have friends there. Someone should tell Disney that and they should pay Jenny a lot of money. Better yet, fire Kathleen Kennedy and replace her with Jenny! Someone MUST PAY for Rise of Skywalker!

S
Spencer Hastings · April 1, 2020

only Land Before Time i owned growing up was IV and i watched it non stop as a young child. so that better be your number one...

S
Spencer Hastings · April 1, 2020

i kinda assumed Jenny would add getting coronavirus at disney to her worst theme park experiences.

S
Steve Ray · April 1, 2020

Bat Flu > Cat Flu ---- "Great," meaning large or immense; I'm saying this in a pejorative sense.

J
Jerry Nicholson · April 1, 2020

The original Land Before Time is the first movie I ever saw in a theater. Obviously it made a huge impression on me. I haven't seen any of the sequels but it will be good to revisit the source of all my childhood nightmares about my mother dying. Absurdly, my job has been deemed "life-sustaining" by my state's lock down guidelines so you can count on at least $5 every month, minus whatever Patreon's take is.

S
Shaun Cheah · April 1, 2020

I believe it was King Solomon who said it best: Whoso silences a room shall be silenced therein: and she that shusheth her friend, shushing shall return upon her. Words of wisdom modern influencers would still do well to heed.

M
Michelle Irene Hanson · April 1, 2020

9 Swan Princess films??? My brothers and I watched the first three so many times as kids (and as teenagers, I should admit), and I knew a couple more awful looking 3D ones came out, but 9?!

M
Michelle Irene Hanson · April 1, 2020

Hit enter by accident, meant to finish that comment by begging you to please do Swan Princess, my inner eight year old desperately wants to watch that video and I can basically guarantee you 1K views from me alone

B
Blue Corn · April 1, 2020

Do Avatar stans exactly exist?

S

ma Blue Corn, ayoeng lu ìlä‘eylan ‘awpo.

D
Dan Cole · April 1, 2020

I hope one of the best experiences was going to Disneyland with Natalie Wynn. Natalie described going to Disneyland with Jenny as a "$10,000 experience... a $10,000 Patreon reward."

S
Steven Clark · April 1, 2020

I saw the first Land Before Time movie once when I was about 11, I wasn't really paying attention, and I came away from it with the vague impression that all the dinosaurs died at the end. So, obviously, I'm incredibly excited to see a full ranking of all fourteen movies.

S
Steve Ray · April 1, 2020

Dinosaurs AND swans? It's a Double Animal Victory!

L
Luis · April 1, 2020

Thank you for this I'm so relieved to see you're doing better I was quite worried. Don't care that I missed sleep for my pharmacy job later today this ramble video and these stories were so worth it :) I can't believe I've lived in the Bay my whole life and didn't know about Fairyland!! I'm definitely planning a visit once things get back to normal. Any numbered list video sounds great so I'm definitely hype for The Land Before Time rankings!

M
Mady, you know, from TV · April 1, 2020

Oooh Land before Time is fun but honestly I was a Swan Princess kid, so that's where my heart lies. I'm glad you're feeling better, and that you were able to get what you needed. Loved this ramble, laughed at loud at you X-man-ing the ride guy. 😄

M

I feel ya on the Living with the Land ride. Always been a favorite of mine. Those pre-greenhouse scenes are the best.

Glad you’re feeling better Jenny! This is exactly the type of content we need during quarantine. Btw Legoland is planning on opening a Lego Movie World (this year hopefully not delayed lol) so that definitely sounds like a good enough reason to go back when things get better

L
Lucas Hauswald · April 1, 2020

I only have experience with Disneyland Paris, but I’m pretty sure that in the queue area of Star Tours there are boxes with old Captain Rex animatronics, some still blinking. Maybe you could try touching one of those, when we’re all allowed to go outside again. I think the old “medical passes” are also still in use at Disneyland Paris, at least they were last year.

S
Stephanie Hohn · April 1, 2020

I once wrote LEGO an eight paragraph letter about how I didn’t like the implications of the Friends dolls being marketed towards girls and only having beauty parlors and stuff, specifically because their Stephanie doll had a bakery where they suggested you have her wash the dishes. LEGO wrote me back within a day with a long email that included market testing etc in response to my complaints, it was wild how good their response was. Now Stephanie is a rock star with her own plane.
