I wonder if they really did bury the animatronic animals? It feels like Disney at the time had no idea what their disused creations would be worth to collectors.

Yes I hope people can appreciate the feast and famine pacing of my content! There are relative dry spells where I don't put out content as fast but it's usually because I'm working on multiple videos at once!
