I feel strongly that any movie adaptation of this book should have every character except Jass and Reza be muppets.
Ah there is so much I love about this video. Even my niggling concern that we were bullying the author by taking such joy in Jenny's reactions is addressed at the end. I'm a little worried that Jenny will follow in Carrie Fisher's footsteps and become a famous script doctor but won't be able to turn her hilarious hot takes on first drafts into entertaining videos for copyright / NDA reasons.
I'm glad this video ends with some kind words for the author and an encouragement for us to be nice. Jenny's learning to use her powers for good.
I do love the book reading videos, but this one is a bit of letdown coming so soon after the Trigger Warning video which was such a masterpiece. I still enjoyed this, just not as much as some of the past books.
Oh man, I've only watched the first 12 minutes or so, but the enthusiasm is contagious, nay, virulent!
Follow up on force bond: It was a major theory in reylo fandom pre-TLJ as far as I can tell, due to clues on the online database. So I hugely doubt it is a coincidence.
And when two people not only share a Force bond, but also love each other very much, they engage in Force bondage.
It's a snake storm! Also, not to sound nitpicky, but I had no idea some people pronounce "leverage" with a hard e. But the dictionary says both pronunciations are correct. I learned something new.

I'm extremely confused. I'm at that bit in which we discover they are earthlings. Does that mean that "light withdraw" is actually vitamin D deficiency? Seems plausible.
It means the cliffs notes reference was foreshadowing? Or an accidental spoiler.

Word! I hate how the #1 hobby these days is being part of a lynch mob. Even if something is flawed or has a dissonant view, that doesn't mean it's evil, and it doesn't need to be attacked.

I started reading reading the first chapter and then had a sudden desire to wipe my phone and then set it on fire. Did enjoy the summary of the rest. With all its flaws writing a book is an accomplishment. The author desires a lot of credit.

And I feel I must note that between this book and the last, you’ve been fair in your critiques and analysis, unlike a lot of others who would have torn these stories to shreds and made a joke of them based solely upon their premises or reputations alone, which would be...like, I want to say...fallic? Fallacial?But that can’t be right. You point out the work’s strengths as well as making light of its weaknesses,which I admire, is what I’m saying. And that is why, Ms. Nicholson, I consider your readings to be so much more sophisticated, no matter how bad or good the quality of the writing might be. That shit’s legit classy and classy legit. Was this published at 9:46pm? Yes. Is this video 1 hr 43 minutes and 20 seconds long? Yes. Am I going to stay up until 11:30 watching this even though I have to wake up early for work tomorrow? YES.
You use the word egregious several times at the beginning of this video. I will be very disappointed if a character named Darth Egregious doesn't show up at some point.
