Hey folks! Before I go off to slumber I'm dropping a preview of this bad boy.
I hope to have this completed in a couple days, before everybody has already complained about all of the complainable parts of this movie.

In 2018 they’re producing a film who’s 4 female characters are passive, sad, unstable to the point of becoming fascist, and mourning the loss of men or a baby. Strong female characters now please JK. Of everything ruined from a “decent” start in the first Beasts movie she absolutely derailed the narrative of two strong sisters making their way in the world on their own.

This is one of those movies that was mostly fine while I was watching it then started getting progressively worse in my mind as time has gone by in the days since.
I have been so ready for this video! (Also i forgot to comment on the video you mentioned a deep dive into the first one-i would definitely enjoy that as well) I'm probably not going to see this movie but i'm so here for hearing about this mess

The undoing/rewriting of film one started within the first ten seconds. They had a subtitle labeling the "American Ministry of Magic" when in the first one they made a big point of calling it MACUSA, the Magical Congress. Did they really think people are too dumb to remember that, or be unable to figure out what "Magical Congress of the USA" means? Not a huge deal, but just... why?
I didn't even notice that! Did they change the name and it's going to be that moving forward, or did they just forget I wonder
I thought I wanted to see the review/roast the first Fantastic Beasts movie but I was wrong. Flaming the new movie is more relevant and just good entertainment.
I still would like to return to the first one. And possibly go deeper into this one when it's on dvd and I can use clips. I just thought I'd do an initial impressions vid on this one while it's topical

Oh man I can't wait for the full video. I'm going to torture my Harry Potter ride-or-die pals with it. (I love the original books and can take or leave all the rest.)
Oh, maaaaan! This Jenny vid was like being told I need to have a root canal done. I have a lot of diehard Harry Potter fans in my circle and I'm not getting out of seeing this. At least with a root canal, you get novocaine.
