The title and first sentence made me think it was a wiki article about some bureaucratic paperwork that Kylo Ren was filling out or something on his desk that appeared in a quick shot somewhere in the movies. "Just gotta finish filling out my Form 27 for my lightsaber insurance to kick in this year."

I'm sorry. I just don't buy Kylo Ren as a competent villain. Even his lightsaber gives you that impression. It's got an exposed wire running down the hilt, and the way the blade fluctuates. I didn't see it as cool or menacing. The first time I saw it, I thought, man, this guy did a half-ass job building his lightsaber.

But what year by Shire reckoning did Kylo master the style?
