S2E2: Agent Secret FX-18
Alright look, I never said these movies would all be good. I just said it would be interesting. This one... this one wasn't either.
In this heap of hot trash, secret agent Francis Copland is assigned to infiltrate some kind of boat-based smuggling operation.

THE MOVIES ARE ON STRIKE!
SAG-AFTRA and the WGA are both on strike for a number of reasons, from pay for streaming residuals, to the rights to own your own appearance, to the right to not have AIs trained off your work.
So if you've got a few spare pennies, why not chip in to help keep movies from becoming Shit Forever.

And if you're in the UK, the UCU could still do with some help

Having binged the archives, I just realized this was the first KJB episode I ever watched. I have no idea what I thought of the unexplained references and in jokes, but I guess it won me over.
Title says season 2, literally unwatchable
any chance you might do Le Samouraï?
Double feature with that and Ghost Dog with Forest Whitaker
From the description I'm really surprised "unprovoked violence" didn't get a solid 7. I think the torture alone would put it at a 7 for me, and killing all the unarmed people would bump it up to an 8 or a 9.
While I know its a criminal offence to recommend series, I would love to hear what you have to say about "Au service de France" which I think Alice has already watched lmao
if Indie films are on the table to watch I highly recommend 2018's Prospect. Pedro Pascal, Sophie Thatcher, and Jay Duplass in a chunky sci-fi that borrows a lot of themes from the revisionist Westerns. Also free to watch on Youtube.
Depending on who was going to win the Cold War, it's possible that she was putting her life on the line for her country, the Soviet Union
If we've got to watch films filmed outside of the US, would Indiana Jones be a film you guys could do? I can't remember where it was filmed, Raider''s, Temple, etc...
it's not about where movies were filmed but who made them, indiana jones is still an american franchise so probably not on this season/during the strikes
I’m doing well, thanks for asking Devon.
Did anyone else think the French groan sounds exactly like the DKC Kremling death noise?
KJB has encountered so many dril looking mfs one has to wonder about your true allegiances
Fucking losing it at the different Thief/Thief 2 the metal age themed cigarettes
The navy themed bullying service would be called Dom, Sodomy, and the Lash
Those three yells may be funniest thing I've ever heard.
Sounds kinda like Yoda falling down a hole
I love the AAAH drop so much, I hope none of you are tired of it yet. And concerning the lemonade and cream: it sounds like a fucked version of a root beer / sprite / soda float, which is delish and does not curdle. There are also nations that mix strawberry milk and sprite. So I don't think it would curdle but it still sounds like they tried and failed to make a joke.
if you're going to do Paolo Sorrentino movies you should do an episode of his unhinged tv series The Young Pope
Aaaaahaaaaaha!!
The idea of sending this generation of jacked movie stars into the past makes me think of when Stallone and Schwarzenegger started making action movies in the 80s and the general opinion was they looked unnatural and cartoonish, for example Clive James describing one of them as a “condom full of walnuts”.
It's pounds.
You know I actully made multiple magic cigarettes for a detective in a 5e game I ran. Was funny to see the cast come up with thinga ive made before
This sounds like Leo DiCaprio’s character in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, going to Italy to revive his career.
Congratulations to Abigail Thorne for winning the coveted "making me legitimately double over laughing at work" award for the phrase "my guy, that is soup"
Is that the yoda death sound from lego star wars
They can't all be winners. Props for going outside the comfort zone.
My left testicle hurts
