The Boney Island Whitefish in: She put the Bones in the Bone Storage (and drank them both up)
Andrew, Riley, and Devon return for the penultimate episode of Bones Season 6! It's a fallow week at the Jeffersonian as Bones focuses on having fun with some dinosaur bones, leaving Booth to focus on forcing a confrontation with rogue sniper Jacob Broadsky. But this time, not everyone is making it out alive.
Outro: Harry Nilsson - Coconut

That's NOT a viking funeral!! That's hollywood garbage!! A viking funeral is you put a corpse in a boat with all it's favorite stuff and then you cover the boat in dirt and get a nice mound!! If you shoot a burning arrow at a boat in the water the fire will not be hot enough to cremate it and you'll just have the charred corpse back on the shore in an hour!!
I liked the books, didn't like the five minutes of Bones I saw in like 2012, but came back for season 6 only. I found the death scene in this really affecting, and I'm sad that there will be no more Boney Island Witefish.... It's the highlight of my however-often-it-comes-out, and I've listened to it with my mom in the car several times, and she also likes it a lot!
We'll be back next week - unless we betray you! 👀
I assume the next episode is delayed indefinitely until Riley manages to have something other than gruel for breakfast.
I went on a trip with my middle school kiddo to DC today. Strange how they kept misspellng Jeffersonian on everything.
I found the Vincent Nigel Murray murder really moving ;_; Bones has been kinda weird, but I'm glad I got into season six for this, and I ended up getting six red Le Creuset mugs at a yard sale, too <3
Broken grains, preferably a mix of rye, oats and wheat, soaked over night. Then cooked with water and salt to taste, until forming a quite firm porridge that still has integrity. Served warm, with cold (unsweetened) soy (or oat) milk and lingonberry jam (can be found at IKEA). The perfect mix of sweet and savory for breakfast.
Riley's Canadian accent slipping out several times this episode and reminiscing about the cabin. The Ontarian blood in him is rising
the hat game is definitely not just a british thing — i’m in nyc and learned it from some friends who all went to college together!! they call it fishbowl tho and they play a kind of chaos mode where you can write anything on the paper like full quotes, friend group references, whatever
In The Netherlands, that game is called either "Who's the Man" or something else that I never bother to remember because it is incorrect. It's a beautiful game. I remember the times we had "Sinterklaas" in the bowl three times.
The guy with the muscle arm is QUAGMIRE
Here in the US, you can buy giant dog food sacks of Malt-O-Meal cereal for the $4.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch is an amazing ice cream topping. Spending 20 quid on a box of cereal is crazy, I think. I should google what a quid is.
Here in the land of the free they have (or maybe had past tense, because of woke) the cereal multi packs which were plastic shells so you could just peel back the film, pour in the milk, and get your daily dose of cereal and micro plastic straight from the tap.
I would describe the Hannibal TV show as doomed yaoi fanfic of Will "Gram" Graham and Hannibal "the Cannibal" Lecter.
I can confirm the Hannibal joke made me feel way less alone and completely fulfilled for a brief second there. Thanks Devon (/Rebecca) <3
Not even safe from world cup talk here?
I saw a tweet that called Special K "milf cereal" I actually giggled out loud when y'all said "beef knuckles" I think in Justifed they referr to the medulla oblongata as "the apricot" so I'm guessing that shooting a lemon is stylistically supposed to be similar to shooting a very small point in the human body like the medulla oblongata (or it's cheaper to grab a lemon from the craft services table than to go out and buy a whole melon)
*in high falsetto* “Dry bones!”
