Choosing to believe that the depiction of Danger Diabolik Grant Morrison based Fantomex on was this one due to them astral projecting to the future. Edit: Alright apparently y’all have not heard of Fantomex, AKA Danger Diabolic if he was literally grown in a Test Tube in a lab and pretended to be French.

This may be late to the party, considering the season is coming to a close, but: y’all should do North by Northwest! It’s a genuinely fun (and funny) spy movie of a thoroughly American persuasion, featuring noted American blonde Eva Marie Saint.
it's interesting that Abbie compares Terry-Thomas' vibe to king john in robin hood b/c he was in that film but as the snake (tooth lisp replaced by tongue lisp), king john was played by Peter Ustinov!

So glad you got to see this one, it's a favorite of mine. If you want more Diabolik movies they recently made two: 2021's Diabolik and 2022'd Diabolik: Ginko Attacks! They're not as good imo, but Eva Kant is played by 10/10 smokeshow Miriam Leone.

If you loved this, I would suggest you do 1968's Black Lizard, a master criminal film directed by Kinji Fukasaku that is just as stylized and nuts. Mishima has a cameo in it!

Fashionable and ostentatious in a way that pushes the limits. Like really bold, and really pulling it off. Sort of drag language. "Serving cunt" is when a drag queen is flawlessly pulling off whatever she's trying to.

Three notes; one he threw a bunch of bags onto the boat before he laughed and jumped over, I think that was the money. Second the fucking on the money scene had a remix of DEEP DEEP DOWN on it that sounded like the stuff Morricone did for The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly and I could not stop laughing. So glad you guys liked it. It's one of my favourite movies, it's so cool. Really like Bava as a director. Shame this is his only studio production. He got it made on time and under budget but it didn't make much money so ho hum. Also, the score was by Ennio Morricone, fun fact.
I mean, if there's a chance we could get Secret Agent Super Dragon as well, that'd be amazing.

The Italian contributions to the Eurospy genre are a class unto themselves. I also would highly recommend “Danger!! Death Ray” for having a spy who could have been Val Kilmer’s father, and also for its crazy soundtrack (though nowhere near as crazy-go-nuts as the Diabolik soundtrack).
Let this be a lesson that sometimes the hogs are right. The WTYP discord's KJB thread has been pounding the table, demanding this because it is genuinely good and genuinely silly. These qualities made for a very successful MST3k episode as well.
