ð AIMAITEI Umamiâs Report on Futaket 35 | A Space Overflowing with What I Love
â Introduction: On October 13, I participated in Futaket 35 as a circle!
Hello there. Iâm AIMAITEI Umami, and I joined Futaket 35 as a circle!
This was my 10âplus time participating. I probably say this every time, but I truly love this event.
Futaket is an allâgenre doujin convention focused around futanari, but also embracing crossdressing, male dressing, and TS (transformation) works.
So many fetish works gather in one place, where you can physically hold something that resonates with your kink, and be among kindred spirits.
Just having that is enough to make your spirits soar⊠some of you might feel that too. Thatâs me.
â PreâEvent Prep: I Planned Two Books, but Summer Was ToughâŠ
Originally I planned to bring two new books, but just making it through summer left me exhaustedâŠ
Before I knew it, I had only one. Still, I kept pushing until the end.
That second book ⊠I really want to bring it next Futaket.
Iâve been posting progress updates on my support sites, and parts of the draft are already public there.
Iâll eventually collate and republish them in a more polished form.
The book I completed is a compilation of past rewards.
Centered around futanariÃmale, dominant female tropes, this is a volume filled with my âI want to lose to futanariâ fantasies.
While editing, I caught myself thinking, âOh man, this is pretty eroticâŠâ â and I like that.
â On the Day: Running on Adrenaline Despite Sleep Deprivation
I arrived at the venue around 10:30â¯AM.
Asakusa was flooded with touristsâas always. It really feels like the crowd grows each year.
Inside, many circles were already deep into setup; booths nearly complete.
I set up my own as usual, borrowing a little help from the neighboring circle. Much appreciatedâŠ!
From opening to closing, the venue remained lively.
Even though I only had one new book, people still came by my boothâand that means the world.
One thing that stood out: more foreign participants than before.
I feel it more and more each year.
The idea that we can connect over kinksânot just online, but in real lifeâis becoming realâŠ!
It makes me nostalgic and emotional.
Honestly, this space is so good that I want people who love doujinshi and whose kinks line up to come experience itâjust once.
The night before, I hardly sleptâabout five hours at best, waking every hour. Terrible condition.
Yet once the event began, adrenaline kicked in and I powered through.
âŠThough by late afternoon I made a few slipups. Next time, I really want to sleep well (I know I always say thatâbut maybe itâs impossible now?).
â Wandering the Venue: A FetishâPacked Wonderland
I started walking around around 2:00â¯PM.
Every booth showcased works packed with the creatorâs own kinkâthey all felt so alive.
As I walked, I kept thinking âI get it⊠/ I love it⊠/ This is strong⊠/ So good!â
The joy of not just resonating with my own kink but touching on othersâ ⊠thatâs Futaketâs essence.
I also had this vague impression: fewer copy books than before?
(I love copy books, so when I see them I get pulled in.)
Though maybe I walked by after many sold outâhard to say.
Either way, this space is saturated with the heat of works people prepared with care. That much is undeniable.
â What Makes Futaket Special
The venue size at Futaket ⊠I feel like itâs just right.
You can sense othersâ presence, the density feels aliveâbut itâs not overwhelming.
Within that space, there is âonly things I loveâ.
Every direction you turn, every work you seeâjoy.
Walking through feels like confirmation: my kink and the eventâs direction are in perfect alignment. Thatâs a quiet kind of happiness. Iâm deeply grateful.
I keep coming back not just because itâs fun, but because people pick up my books, look forward to them.
That is one of the biggest driving forces that keeps me creating. Thank you, always.
Through creating continually at Futaket, I believe one of the things Iâve gained is âa sense of safetyâ.
In most of society, many of the emotions or desires I have are taboo to show openly.
But here, I feel: âIf I choose the right time and place, I can express them, and someone might see them.â
Not being rejected, but acceptedâcreating, showing, being seen.
That is something precious Iâve gained through creation.
Also, the online side of creating is very important to me.
Being able to post at my own pace, receive unexpected reactions, connect across distance and timeâitâs a gift.
But then thereâs the physical spaceâthe venueâwhere you feel reactions firsthand.
That kind of energy is different and powerful.
Because both exist, I receive so many kinds of stimulationâand thatâs how I keep going.
I hold on to this belief: a work I draw now might resonate with someone coming later.
I want to keep making what I want to make.
And to the place that accepts all of thisâFutaket, with its breadth and depthâI am truly grateful.
â Closing: Thank You, and Whatâs Next
To everyone who visited my boothâthank you from the bottom of my heart!
At the next Futaket, I plan to bring three new books. (Yes, Iâm getting ahead of myselfâtake that with a grain of salt.)
As for online salesâprint / digitalâIâm still arranging things. So right now⊠nothingâs set yet.
But putting something out there, making it realâthat still blows me away in a good way.
See you at the next Futaket.
ð Afterword
Thanks so much for reading all the way through.
If this article makes even one person curious about Futaket or futanari creation, Iâll be overjoyed.
