Soulspire Dev Update #14
Happy Monday! The writing is done, art is running and should be done by Wednesday, and my initial playtesting is already under way. Version 4 will be out on the 29th for early release, 30th for all subscribers. The majority of this update will be all the new events I've written, but there's still plot progression and handholding to look forward to.
As promised, here is a sneak peek - notice anything different?

Thanks for the update and I'm thinking the plants are different which make the 'why' of it something that could influence future choices/areas of emphasis - interesting!

Thanks for the update. Hopefully, you don't mind me asking, when devs talk about renders being created by a certain time, do you think it takes time to process through a program? And it's just a matter of waiting afterward?
Yeah, posing renders is generally faster than rendering them in programs like Daz (which I used for PoP) and Blender (used for Soulspire). It takes a few minutes to get the characters posed how I want them to be posed, but it can take 5-30 minutes to actually render the scene from Blender into a PNG file. The time required depends on resolution, number of iterations (more iterations = less noise, generally speaking), complexity of the lighting, background, other characters, etc.
