Development Update #55

Happy August everyone! Just a quick dev update today - the final epilogue is 1/3 done, so we're well on track for an end of September release. Lots of work to do before then, so it could slip to beginning of October like I've said before, but I'm targeting end of September if possible. I'll be taking the next few days off because today is my 30th birthday, so the wife and I are going out of town to celebrate. That's already baked into the release timeline (see earlier dev updates), but just wanted people to know that I'll be taking some time off. :)

Now that I am entering my 30s, I need to prepare for my midlife crisis, so please vote below on what type of crisis I should have. :)

I have a theory that many, if not all, mid-life crises are actually mid-life opportunities. You're just finally able to afford to do a thing you've always wanted to do.

I love that trains are winning. My grandpa had a setup that took up half of the entire garage plus and extended run up in the rafters that was connected to the main set, so you could run the trains around the main set, then flip the switch and send one up into the rafters circling the garage before coming back down to the main set again. Of course, if you had multiple trains you would have to make sure remaining trains weren't headed along the same track in the same direction the train needs to go to get up into the rafters, 'cause then they'd be heading for a collision ... but it did have three controllers to run multiple trains at once.

Hookers and blow could make you lose all the others, so I would avoid that one. Not that I know anyone that did that. I used to work at a Hobby shop that sold trains. Ya uh huh fun. CARS!!!!! :)

All except third are good or at least acceptable choices. Been there & done that and,,,, well, it didn't end so well.

nothing wrong with yardwork. so long as its a lawn or garden and not, prayforbid, an obsession with units of measurement. :)

How the hell is model trains winning? Any of those choices can lead you down a bad path, but the trains are guaranteed to. Trust me, I've lost friends and family. /s (but kinda serious, too)

You would think the typical madness of hookers & blow would be winning, but model trains just proves how degenerate & depraved our fellow supporters are.
