This took far longer then I expected, but that is decor items for you. I really wanted to finish off the workshop look from WURK Cabinetry with decor that would set the mood. That resulted in about 2 months of work on and off (since I was sick and was spending time with family). Now it is done, and

I get inspired by different things, whether that is things i see when out and about, Pinterest, or in-game items. This time I was looking through the catalogue and saw the work bench from Restoration workshop kit and thought "that would be great if it was modular." Modular items tend to be better ma

I found thins monotone kitchen on Pinterest at the end of last year and fell in love. Due to other projects and burnout, I put it on the backburner but finally got back around to finishing it. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I love how it has turned out and will be using it a lot in my own g

There was a lot of potential with the items that came with the Businesses & Hobbies EP, so after taking some time to recover from burnout, I come back with an unofficial addon for the buymode portion. Hopefully these will fill in some of the voids while offering a bit more variation and usability fr

The latest kits are a cool concept; basing the theme on an iconic character. However, splitting the budget between CAS and BB items leaves BB lacking (CAS stands on it's own for the most part). So you know what that means? New items. Some other people had the same idea so hopefully mine feels unique

I love rattan, and when I saw a similar curved-arm sofa on pinterest, I had to make it. Then I felt it was lonely, so I added more. It is a smaller set, but I think I made it quite focused which is something I am working on, so really happy with the results. The Build item/s feature: basegame compat

I really liked the styles and objects we got with Life and Death Expansion, but of course I wanted more, and to fill in some of the missing items. So I ended up with 29 items, and a default replacement. Now there are more of a good thing. What you need to know: I say this multiple times, but this re

After all the addons I have been doing lately, I needed a break from the process. If you have been following for any length of time, you would know my happy place is making sofas. Well this sofa was so nice it turned into a living room. What you need to know: Throw blanket is designed for the armres

I really love Cozy Bistro Kit, but unfortunately, it doesn't cater well to other wall heights. Although I could really only edit the window and doorways up to medium height, with the use of friezes which pair well with this architectural type, there is far more use in the kit than ever before. Defin

When I got a code for the Party Essentials kit courtesy of the EA Creator Network, I left left wanting. It was really only catered to the people that play with short wall builds, but I saw this pack as having great potential for community builds that were created using taller wall heights. Although

I felt colour-deprived so I swung violently towards a postmodern set because of how in-your-face the colours can be. I think I made it a little more approachable, but i definitely got my colour fix. Download at Simsational Designs

This has been a long time in the making. I originally threw around the idea of a Hinterlands Kitchen back at the end of 2021, but tried as I might, I just could not come up with a design I liked. At the end of 2023, a full 2 years later, I finally nailed the design and the rest came together easily.

Something I have wanted to make since the original Bowed Living, was adapting the design to a bedroom set. It took a while to become inspired, but i really love the outcome. Hopefully you all enjoy the boho/island vibes as well. Download at Simsational Designs

I fell in love with the curtains that came with the Desert Luxe kit. The seamless spacer, the full length design, it's just a great set of versatile curtains. However, I really wish I could layer other drapery with it. So what did I do? I made my own. Download at Simsational Designs

Well this set has been a long time coming. I first mocked up the cot back when Growing Together released, but put it on the backburner while I worked on other things. I finally had the inspiration to finish the set and here we are. I decided to focus on infants and not toddlers but maybe in the futu

I saw a sofa, I had to make it. I think people know me well enough by now. Thought the way it was designed was interesting, and I always need more blocky sofas. Download at Simsational Designs

I have always wanted to make a hallway set, but it's never been at the forefront of my mind, or been inspiring enough to become reality. I got a ask on tumblr about a mudroom and the idea just clicked with me, so I guess it was finally time for the idea to work on it. I am really happy with how it c

I wanted a sectional specifically designed for outdoor use, so I made it. With winter coming my way, i want to be reminded of the warmth, so this will do nicely for that purpose 😅🤣 Download at Simsational Designs

This set has been a long time coming, even well before Growing Together was announced. The idea was to create a cute set that would work for multiple life-stages and a range of genders. Quite hard when my theme was rainbow, but I think I managed it. I know why kid's sets take longer then others I cr

I have not really done many outdoor sets, which is odd considering I live outside most of the year. It usually comes down to inspiration. I did stumble across a wonderful outdoor kitchen on pinterest with an interesting trough that I just had to add to my game, and that is how Creta was born. I deci

Saw the inspiration for this sofa at my local Bunnings store, and had to make it. Was initially going to be fully cane, but changed it to rattan, and far happier with the outcome. It also pairs wonderfully with my Bowed Living set. Now I have more options, and so do you! Download at Simsational Desi

Finally got around to experimenting with rattan. TS4 has small textures, so doing life-like scale just isn't a possibility if you want to keep a Maxis-look. So I made my own using a tutorial I came across for blender, and here we are. I love how it turned out and not I finally have rattan I like, I

This is quite a unique design in it's execution, and I felt in love with the inspiration for this set. The original design paired fabric upholstery with a metal frame powder-coated in the same colour. I loved the monochromatic look and decided to tweak the design into what you see here. I also fell

14th of October, 2020. That was the day this kitchen idea was first born. I know that because I created the folder for the blend file on that day (I do try to be organised). I loved the idea of a louvre kitchen, but never found the time to bring it to reality so it just sat there, forever in limbo t

Getting your mojo back can take a while, and man, is it taking a while. However I am taking it slowly and doing things that really inspire me. One of those things was a bedroom to go with Kitayama items I have already created. I like the Japanese-Scandinavian fusion (still not using the stupid ass n

Found this design looking for something else on pinterest, and just had to make it. I glammed the design up a bit, added a contrasting fabric to the back, and voila! I love having more curved sofas, or sofas in general. I do think in time I am going to make a set I have already done because i have m

Sometimes I just run with an idea because it's so good I just need more of it. Hamptons was a good example, and the same can be said for Hinterlands. This week, it's a (bit delayed) dining collection. I really don't have enough country styles in my catalogue, so having more is really nice. Download

Well here is part II of my Adirondack Love seat. I wanted to see a modern interpretation in my game to accompany the classic style, because that will not always work. I like the swat appearance, but also the key elements that make an Adirondack an Adirondack. Also I love the umbrella. The design was

I know, gone far too long. If you follow me on tumblr you probably already know the reason why so I wont go into detail here. I needed and extended period off but i am back with some more custom content. This time it's my love of Adirondack seating. This was supposed to just be a bench set but it ki

I really love having another option for making sofas. But unfortunately they aren't basegame because of the chaise and corresponding base mesh needed to make them. I did discover that the tuning was base game when I made my initial designs, but without the required base mesh with it's unique groups,

This one-off set seems to be turning into a series, and I am not made about it. The style I came up with for Hinterlands Bedroom really speaks to me. It's classic by not fussy, and really works well in my more traditional homes without looking gaudy and cliche. So of course the design style suited a

If you have followed me for a while, you know I have a soft spot for MCM-style furniture. I really loved the retro vibes of the sofas we got in the pack, but I wanted plain versions without pillows and a throw, as well as a choice without patterns. To me, it was just easier making a sofa with the sa

Another week, another sectional. Like most of you have probably figured out, I m addicted to sofas. If not, welcome to my favourite object I love making for my game. With the introduction of sectionals, it just opened up a whole different can of worms so I now have even more options for making seati

After Dream Home Decorator came out I knew that everyone who asked me to make a sectional would come knocking on my door saying "you said you would make a sectional if Maxis made one!" I am a man of my word and this is my first proper sectional utilising the new system. I will do more, but I will no

I had this idea for a country bedroom which sprung up from a wardrobe I had intended to go with a now scrapped set. With Cottage Living announced, I decided to move it off the back burner and finish it as i felt that it would work great for the pack. With a few additions including some lovely floral

So I did say I had a second part to Kitayama, and here it is. I initially started out with the Living room, which quickly grew to include a dining room as well. However, uploading and maintaining large files is a pain, so I split it up. Now I am able to upload, I can share it with all you. Hopefully

This set came about from a Pinterest image where Japanese and Scandinavian style were fused together to create something new. I really loved the idea and was inspired to make a set based on the theme. There are parallels between the two styles, but the beauty is in the differences and married togeth

I saw this sofa design on pinterest, and had to have it for my game. The tub chair aesthetic really spoke to me, and the slight curves with a subtle pattern was just wonderful. I really feel this design will be at home in an apartment or loft and just add a bit of visual interest without being the c

I really loved the knitted pattern from the CL bed, but thought the texture was way too large. So I scaled it down and couldn't figure out what to do with it until recently. I really love how these came out, and now I have another textured option for my bedding, in all sizes. Download @SimsationalDe

This was supposed to go up last week, but you know how life gets in the way. This is something I have been teasing on Patreon (only thing I could think to give as a little thank you to those supporting without pay-walling stuff). It is in concept a basics collection to give a standard, simple design

I haven't had this much fun with a stuff pack in quite a while, and was really inspired to add more content. I came up with 20 edits for items I wanted (or altered) and really happy with the outcome. Some just make sense (like the large vase being shrunk and slottable) to wants (really wanted a bedf

Another upload, another sofa set. This style is a bit different then what I usually do. It was adapted from a modern take on a camel back but I preferred it with a flat back. The bolster pillows (not separate) add a bit of panache that would have made an otherwise boring design, something a bit more
