PsyAmb 151 - Quantum Shift [ Mix Download ]

In this mix we take a trip back to a golden era of downtempo psychedelia. The decade stretching from the mid-90s to the mid-2000s was a fertile breeding ground for mind-bending electronica . It was a time when genre walls softened, labels went wandering, and a wave of avant-garde producers stitched together ambient, dub, chillout and early psy-experimentation into something genuinely new.

I’ve been digging through my old CD collection lately, revisiting the discs that shaped those late-night listening sessions, and unearthed a handful of pieces that I suspect never quite made it onto the PsyAmb podcast. They’ve aged beautifully too . Here is an array of exploratory little transmissions from a moment when the scene felt wide open.

So sit back and drift with me through this slightly eclectic selection; a small window into the sounds, textures, and moods of that exploratory time.

Thank you once again for your amazing continued support here on Patreon. As we head into the end of the year I'll be looking to finish it off with a bang, presenting some mixes of newer tunes and including some more original artwork to go with them. Until next time, stay chilled and happy listening.
