Sept. + 1/2 Oct. '25 Progress Report!

Starting this post with what appears to be my most common phrase this year: "Forgive the delay! This past month got away from me!"

WHAT DID YOU WORK ON?

The past month really did get away from me! Non-YouTube work took up the majority of my time, with MagicCon and pitches ending up as priority number 1 in September.

MagicCon was extremely fun (see some captioned photos above) and also unbelievably busy. I think I spent an hour of time actually looking around the convention, but Ify and I had a great time running events and doing a show.

After Pokémon Worlds, I got a little more obsessed with Pokémon (okay, it just reawakened it), so I've been working on building a living pokédex over on my Twitch! I'm currently streaming in the afternoons on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but who knows, I may go back to Bike Stream if I keep going like this.

Pitches were the majority of my other work. There are four pitches in particular:

• The first three are TV show pilots that Karen and I have been trying to take out for a while. Things have finally picked up enough in the industry that the production companies we're working with want to start pitching again, so we've been doing a lot of prep! Some day, faaaaaar down the line, I'll share with y'all the pitch documents we're using, but we've gotta keep them secret for now!

• The fourth one is a pitch that's directly related to my Patreon work. I was hoping to have more to share before this Progress Report came out, but alas, the month got away from me!

WHAT ARE YOU UP TO IN OCTOBER (READ: FOR THE REST OF OCTOBER)?

I want to complete two things: the Patreon-related pitch, and a video for my Patrons about the pitch itself (and why the heck I haven't managed to get a video done in the past year). I think I've finally cracked why I've been struggling so much, and I have a plan to get out of it. I hope I'll have that up for you all by the start of November!

I'll also be traveling a bunch at the end of October for other shoots—there will be another episode of The Gotta Catch 'Em All Game Show on Halloween on the official Pokémon Twitch channel, and I'll be appearing as a guest on some of my fave Magic-related shows, so I'll be around!
