Update on Upcoming Movies
Hello Everyone -
Navi here! I have been told that there have been some confusion on how movies are being selected and what is happening with all the movie polls that have been posted in the past. So, I am here to shed some light.
Our goal is to watch 3-4 top choices from each of the poll we listed this year (listing top choices from each poll below). We will be finishing up Kung Fu Panda series soon which was to test out DreamWorks trends on Youtube. We will also watch "How to Train Your Dragon" series to complete that reaction.
After Kung Fu Panda, our goal will be to watch top 4 choices from Quentin Tarantino poll, followed by top 4 picks from Studio Ghibli.
Since halloween, is around the concern, we will be watching 3 horror movies that can be released on Youtube in October. These movies are selected based on Youtube poll published few weeks ago (The Thing, IT Part 2 and Blair Witch) and will be sprinkled in between poll choices.
For Christmas/Holidays, we will be watching all Harry Potter movies, since some of us consider it holiday movies and it was winner of Movie Series poll.
If all goes as planned then this is all we would be able to watch until end of this year and will start 2024 with Pixar movies followed by Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Hunger Games. Around this time, we will publish another poll to make plans for 2024.
Bear in mind that if there is a premiere movie such as Mission Impossible 7 or Barbie, then things will be adjusted accordingly to make room for those reactions. Same if a specific team member is on PTO and they are needed then we will watch something else in between to make sure our editor has one movie per week to edit.
Hopefully this long answer will help clear some things on upcoming plan for movies.

Yesssss studio Ghibli!!! I have been waiting for you to finally do those! Especially princess mononoke, one of my fave films of all time
Hoped for Porco Rocco meaby next time. Hope you enjoy Wall-E one of my favorits of all time.
Hope they squeeze into/across the spiderverse
#sundayrundown Both Artemis and Kid Flash left the team to pursue normal lives. They attend Stanford University.
Um it's almost blasphemous to not watch Reservoir Dogs.
Thanks for the clarification. Can't wait for the Studio Ghibli and HP movies.
THE THING!… Fuck yeah, favorite movie of all time.
Major W to the Normies for Harry Potter, The Thing, greatest hits from Tarantino and Miyazaki, and The Planet of the Apes series.
The outrage of the Harry Potter stuff becomes meaningless when the people here voted for the movie series to be reacted to.
so excited for kill bill
HP and quentin.yassss
Awesome thank you! I was wondering what was going on with Harry Potter, I felt like it won ages ago and was forgotten. This clears everything up, appreciate the post!
Becareful with those studio ghibli reactions on youtube....they do not play when it comes to strike on channels
thanks so much for the clarity, I dont care which reactions come out when I just wanted to know whether they were going to be done.
Finally getting It Chapter 2
I would love a Once Upon a Time in Hollywood reaction one day. Thank you for the update!
Glad that Studio Ghibli reactions are still in the pipeline.
I am SO excited for Planet if the Apes. Y’all don’t even know. That trilogy is a masterpiece.
Your almost done with the kungfu panda movies? I havnt even seen the reaction to the first one posted...
Please, if you guys are going to do Tarantino, just do all of his movies. There's not many and you can see his evolution as a filmmaker. At the very least, make sure you watch the four you've chosen in chronological order!
I fear you are missing the point of The Normies... they just want to watch fun shows/movies. They are not hardcore movie buffs that might find Tarantino's evolution as a filmmaker genuinely interesting. I mean, we can barely get them to stop talking over the films - and that's fine, because that is who they are. Some of them might continue to watch the rest of his films on their own, but they have FAR too many things on their plate as a group to do all of them - that's why they only watch the top 4 from their polls.
Thank you for clarifying looking forward to it, I had no idea you guys were going to do the Planet of the Apes Trilogy, it really is amazing hope you all do at some point because damn that will be so much fun and those who haven't seen it have no idea what they'd be getting into in the best way.
LOTS of great movies coming up!! That’s awesome guys!
Can't wait for Hunger Games, Pixar and Tarantino movies! Hope you consider watching Wes Anderson movies in the future/adding them on future polls. I like to recommend The Royal Tenenbaums, Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr. Fox and Isle of Dogs
Really looking forward to all the Tarantino content!
"Grave of the Fireflies" is going to be a hell of a reaction.
Thank you guys for replying to my comments, can't wait for Harry Potter :)
Very glad about your choice to watch Harry Potter, despite a very small but loud minority being unhinged and trying to cancel everyone who supports it. Can't wait!
I notice those same folks never speak up about movies like Django or Inglorious Basterds - both making money for someone who is actually in jail for their crimes and not just a self-important pariah who can't seem to shut her mouth and keep her hateful misguided opinions to herself. It's one thing to stand up for your beliefs, and another entirely to hop on the loudest bandwagon and shake your fist at the sky.
God wallet is so funny, the way he think he deserves love, stupid machine
I heard scary things about Ghibli. I hope you take care and know what you're doing.
What
Spider-Verse tho!
Yes, we will do Spider verse soon. Hopefully!
i hope it won't be all tarantino, followed by all ghibli... it would be nice to mix them up a bit for some variety
We will try to mix these up
Did you guys recover that dungeons and dragons reaction micky mentioned in a podcast? Or is it lost forever
It is sadly lost forever :(
I saw confirmation that you’ll be watching The Thing and blacked out from joy.
Yes, we have already seen The Thing and it should be on Patreon next few weeks
Well ATSV just came out so I assume that will be a priority soon
Harry Potter, hunger games? Can’t wait to see that along with the other cool choices
Cool, jk Rowling content. Remember in your sunny reactions when you made that statement that you were allies? I’ve No Healthcare now in the uk, thanks to her campaign. She helped stop the ban on gay conversion therapy. Some allies you are. You care more about actors and writers than lgbt people.
Get over yourself. Nobody's forcing you to watch those movies.
I wish pirates of the Caribbean was the series you guys react to
Sadly it didn't won on the poll :( Maybe one day
YESSS HARRY POTTER & HUNGER GAMES!!! I’M PSYCHED!
