Tried to think of who the G might be, started reading the story, and went "Oh duh... Of course."

200+ pages of setup for the upcoming resolution of the subplot (dealing with the locals), of the subplot (digging up a Walled City) of a subplot (Ilvriss preparing to confront Az'kerash) and enjoying every minute of it. That's why I love this series.

I really love the way you make the notion of a high level leader like Ulva Terland on the move such a big deal. It really hammers home how much of a force multiplier they are. This chapter reminds me of how the Titan can't easily go where he pleases without creating waves and counter-moves.

Is time for predictions. Ilvriss and Lyonette do the perfect highstepper and make out of course. Then something goes wrong. Some Nameless Horror will be released at the same time as the Lischelles and the Terlands and Salazar are in a three way fight. Nerul will negotiate the hell out of getting everybody working together. Artillery spells from Ailendamus, Grimalkin/Eldavin commentating, Silvenia jorking the peanits , we know the deal. The magic pickaxes and random shit Lady El gives away for free will make the difference. Something awesome will be revealed when Mrsha trips over it and it will turn out Timekeeper got some seditious knowledge from Ywine. Georgie will hook up with Damia and it turns out that an overly freaky bitch in his bed gives him something to live for. Tolve will be a tsundere and have killed the second, bonus Nameless Horror to save everyone’s lives. Grumbling the whole time what idiots he is surrounded by.

Another great chapter. Even after all this time, the continuous addition of new characters and new subplots keeps things fresh. Every new intro is interesting and we want to learn more. Georgie is a good character. My only suggestion is that is struggle doesnt carry on too long, as with Saliss. Saliss’s progress is so slow and he’s so paranoid and angry that it becomes a bit depressing to watch. Looking forward to more though. Thanks for the story.

Are there edits made to the chapter after it is up on patreon when it is opened to everyone? Should I just wait for it instead of reading it on patreon?
