We're at LitRPG Con!
You heard me, we'll be there, with a booth, and Erin Bennett and Andrea Parsneau will both be there so if you see them say hi from me! (But don't bother them too much obviously.)
It's the first convention that we've ever attended, and I say 'we' in that I'm not going to be there. Or if I ever am at a convention I'll be in stealth-aba mode, rolling around, hiding under boxes, and never admitting I'm there till after the fact.
Rather, we'll have that booth with advertising for The Wandering Inn, including sneak peaks at stuff so check it out and say hi if you're in the area! I do want to go to a convention sometime before I die, and I've heard Dragoncon, Worldcon, and LitRPG con discussed among others. Maybe someday. For now, look for 'Damien' at the booth and be nice to him or else!
Lastly, thank you to everyone supporting the pre-order campaign! It's working--we're climbing in levels week by week, and we can see jumps in the numbers whenever you all talk about it, so hopefully this will be another moment!
If you're attending the LitRPG con or are in the area, come by! (Also you should see some amazing art we'll hopefully have printed to mark us. You'll know it when you see it.)

Went to LitRPG Con and did my best Bird impression for Ms Erin...before I realized it was Ms. Erin. I think I'm still a bit embarrassed.

Awwww... I looked at the con, and specifically looked for TWI/PA, and decided it wasn't worth it to fly in. Now only Sunday tickets are available. :(
NGL, I was walking around in public and I overheard people talking about Dungeon Crawler Carl and making "God Damnit Donut" references. And I was like. "Dam, Kinda happy for PirateAba but I kinda want to gatekeep". I hope it doesn't devolve into a weird fanbase. But the shippers and furries are already here. O_O

Y'know, you probably could have taken payment on your store and then ordered the books in bulk and dropshipped/fulfillment serviced on release day. Like any small book store, just online only.. Then you get part of the retail costs back with only minor effort.. A bit extra overhead to research and set up the first time. But you've got another 40+ of these coming... It's worth the effort or delegation.
Which would be a great way to sell books to existing website visitors and a terrible way to bring in new visitors through traditional retailers.
Why wasn't this announced earlier...I could've arranged to go. it's so close before the con, I can't go now. Was this last minute planning or something?? Either way, sad I'm missing it. You guys should do other cons too and announce it ahead of time!--Froyobaggins' wife

In that case, I love that we live in the singular universe out of infinite possibilities where the monkeys have written The Wandering Inn successfully
