What the f*ck happened with Model Simtizen?!
For the past couple of years, I've been hit with the one painstaking question in my comment section that I've been doing everything in my power to avoid answering:
"Is Model Simtizen ever coming back?"
After years of going back and forth with myself, I finally unveiled yesterday that Model Simtizen is in fact coming back this November on Patreon & YouTube. However, before the series premieres for the second time, I wanted to go ahead and give an explanation as to why Model Simtizen suffered a two year long hiatus and what changes you'll see in the series future.
There’s also a good chance that a lot of you have no idea what Model Simtizen is or even knew of its existence. So I’ll sum things up:
I had big dreams for Model Simtizen; my debut Let's Play series, inspired by 2007’s Gossip Girl, filled with sex and drama and scandal and lies. I dreamt it would be glamorous, highly produced, something up a different alley of the content I typically made (during that period of time) that was of relatively low(er) effort, consisting of simple editing, loads of text-to-speech, and quick turnaround times. I had yet to produce actual Let's Play series content and was barely delving into the world of narrating alongside playing the Sims. And though I lacked the experience, I was confident in my abilities to get the job done. I mean, you have to start somewhere, right?
LMAO, I was gravely mistaken.
To make things as simple as possible, I lacked the skillset (and partially, the confidence) it takes to be a decent Let's Play content creator. I hadn't realized how taxing it'd be to entertainingly speak into the mic while focusing on gameplay at the same time. I failed to see how demanding writing dramatic scripts and messy Gossip Girl-esque storylines would be. Because, if you have ever seen Gossip Girl, you would know that some of those messy rich people storylines were absolutely fucking wild. That emulation of chaos in a Sims 4 Let's Play, with the assistance of mods and custom content, most definitely takes relentless energy, skill, research, and creativity. I failed to realize I was not ready to take all of that on just yet.
What I should have done before taking on Model Simtizen was practice creating less demanding, less structured Let's Play videos before deciding to dedicate myself to a full-blown series. Since Model Simtizen's initial debut in early 2024, I have gone on to experiment with less demanding works, such as Celeste Singh's Lovestruck Mini-Series, as well as Nikki & Greg, the WooHoo Robot, a series which granted me the milestone of my first ever video to reach 100k views, and series as a whole boasts nearly 400k total views. And of course, let's not forget about the Ms. Andry and Black Widow Challenge, my most successful Let's Play series of all time. I've also created multiple other successful videos, such as my pose creation tutorial, Sims 4 Marketplace commentary videos, and many mod showcases.
To sum it up, I've gotten entirely fucking better at this content creator thing! 😝
And with the new knowledge that I've gained over these years, along with now having some more time on my hands, I can confidently say that I believe Model Simtizen will go on to be a successful series and I am extremely excited to show you all what I've been cooking up with Kaya Covington, Yuyen Zagala, Donella Haze, and Jaidyn Montrose over these past two years.
Also, keep your notifications on for more rambles, sneak peeks, collaborations, & giveaways over the next week or so.
See you this November, xoxo.

Sometimes all it takes is for you to be self aware and share as much of that with others as you can! Looking forward to the new LP. In the meantime, I see some classics I can binge watch.
I love this real and raw content. I am not familiar with your Model Simtizen series (thought the concept sounds addicting) or much of your work apart from what I have seen on my tiktok and facebook, but everything I have seen from you has been incredible (I need to do a binge of all your work). I think the fact that you had the ability to reflect on your skill set prior to continuing the series is a great sign of an incredible creator. I could sit here and say you should have just made and posted the content and you would have learnt along the way but as a fellow perfectionist and an overthinker, that is easier said than done and you never would have been satisfied with your work which can destroy us mentally! It is so much more work than I expected, I am VERY new, very much learning and have so many ideas and ambitions but I know, the same as you, that some things, for the sake of our own sanity, they need to be shelved until we have time to learn, build skill/ confidence etc. Good on you! Cannot wait to see this series and cheer you on <3
So looking forward to it, you got this Sol! You’ve been doing such a great job with your art and I don’t doubt Model Simtizen will be just as lovely. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your work ♥️
Omg I loved it, I sent out a prompt to the tumblr 😭 I just realised how FUN it’ll be when the series starts running again and we can participate in that stuff !!
You quite literally put how I felt about a big Let's Play project that I started a couple years ago into the perfect words 😭 I had just chalked it up to me not being motivated enough to do it but omg this described my feelings to a T
you are always entertaining, right from the nsb alllll the way to ms andry, i remember watching model simtizen and just being blown away by you, even two years later you still never fail to impress me. even if you felt like you didn’t do a good job, there’s people like me who will always be in your corner excited for everything you do
I really understand where you’re coming from, especially as someone who has started and restarted making content at least four or five times now. especially about the skill understanding part. It’s just so much of a learning curve that I am trying to persevere through, and that feeling that you’re not doing something as you wanted to be done, or the final product not coming out as you envisioned, eight stuff I also struggle with, and I commend you for even restarting the series. It’s such a beautiful series, in my opinion
It really is tasking to not only come up with a concept and having to fulfill it to what your brain sees, but to film, talk (i hate talking), edit, post, and repeat is CRAZY WORKKK. As a sims content creator myself, having to deal with mental health and perfectionism as a whole sucks but it does become rewarding in the end once you see it all come together. Nonetheless, I’m so glad you’re bring this back in your own time and I can’t wait to see what’s next!!
Oh the perfectionism part, you get it 😩 Thank you so much for the kind words SIMVYNETV! 🥹
