Hannibal Digested, Show 6 - Rôti and Relevés

Hannibal Season 1 careens towards its bloody conclusion.  Elliot, George, and myself reconvene to talk about it.  Double meanings, triple meanings, Gideon and Bedelia as alt-Hannibals, the shortcomings of Alana vs the brilliance of Freddie, soapification, Hannibal's hissy fit, Chilton as a Dallas character, Himmler's motivations, Exquisite Corpse, The Man in the High Castle, the desire to go rummaging around in hegemonic texts, magic, metatextuality, personal symbolic and semiotic universes, the miltonic lucifer, fever, scrambled brains, etc.

I get thrown off the call a lot owing to internet gremlins, but the other two more than cover for me.  And I get some good ones in.
