Backer Street Irregulars 13: The Beryl Coronet

In which myself, Daniel, and Kit, have a surprisingly fruitful conversation about a lesser-known but enjoyable second-tier Holmes tale.  Subjects include wooden legs, snow prints, the nature of the detective story,  ACD's 'ticks', passive aggressive fathers (and sons), social respectability and disgrace panic, class hierarchies, bad girls, and pervasive money worries at every level (except Holmes').
