Wrong With Authority 3: Shadow of the Vampire & Gods and Monsters

Another blast from the past.  The third episode of the mothballed and de-hosted podcast Wrong With Authority, in which I used to chat with my friends Daniel (now my IDSG co-host), Kit Power (now my Backer Street Irregulars co-host), and James Slater-Murphy (of Pex Lives) about movies about history and the history they're about.

In this episode it was James' turn to pick the films and host, and we talked about Shadow of the Vampire (2000), a dramatisation of the making of F. W. Murnau's Nosferatu which reimagined events with Max Shreck as a real vampire hired to star in the film, and Gods and Monsters (1998), a fictionalised account of the last days of James Whale, director of the original Universal Frankenstein movies.
