Thanks Again / News

Just in case I don't say it to you lot often enough: thank you all so much.  Your generosity and support means more to me than I can say.  It's not just the cash - though there have been frequent occasions over the last few horrible months - when seeing that I have a regular source of extra income has really been a light in the dark for me.  Your material support genuinely does help me to continue making IDSG, which is a project I'm desperately proud of and desperately want to continue with.  I feel like, in these dark times, I'm doing something worthwhile by helping Daniel get his knowledge out there to an audience.  But it's more than that.  The kindness and friendship behind the material help is even more valuable.  Even so, please don't worry if your material support has to reduce or end.  I don't want anyone to endanger themselves on my account in these parlous times.

Now for the news.  Myself and my brilliant writer friend Kit Power have finally started recording our podcast about our recent re-read of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories.  We've already got three episodes recorded: an intro, an episode on A Study in Scarlet, and one on The Sign of Four.  These will soon start appearing here (and on Kit's Patreon) for backers only.  A very little extra thank you.

Well, thanks so much for the work that you and Daniel do (and that includes Daniel's fun work on TMBDOS). But IDSG is soooo valuable and I share its existence with everyone I talk to. You are both brilliant.

You and Daniel have literally been the source of knowledge this family has relied on to debunk the lies our child has been exposed to online. I can’t count how many times you have saved us and brought us back together. The work you both do is invaluable to us. I only wish we could contribute more! Thank you.
