Same Log 4.5 Event Horizon (Anderson, 1997)

The neurotic, ill-assorted, misfit Same Log crew re-embark upon our tatty, workaday, grimdark 90s space ship, bringing all our personal demons with us, and voyage to the outer reaches of the solar system in search of the derelict hulk that is 1997's Event Horizon. Partly to honour the recently passed Sam Neill (stealth Horror icon), we take a look at Paul Anderson's eclectic (to put it politely) SF-Horror-action space oddity. An interesting one, this, as - with the exception of the Poltergeist remake which George and I covered in a side-quest - this is the first Same Log episode where we're not just all gushing constant praise.
