One thing struck me about the “Batman” comparison: “Batman” at least had the fig-leaf of the Wayne Foundation that ostensibly does the altruistic, philanthropic work that offsets Bruce Wayne’s vendetta against the underworld. This film dispenses with that entirely, presumably because it’s woke and soy
The dreaded, reviled Joel Schumacher had a news report in one of his movies describe Wayne Enterprises as having a profit sharing scheme.
