Spooktober 3.4 Penda's Fen (1974)

Big episode about a big movie, 1974's BBC television film masterpiece Penda's Fen, written by David Rudkin and directed by Alan Clarke.

Have a good end of 2024 / start of 2025 everyone.

Another great conversation regarding a brilliant film that made no cultural impact on the American side of the Atlantic. I'm grateful to you guys for introducing me to both this and "The Stone Tape." 1970s BBC could apparently air some fantastic stuff when people in power weren't paying attention.
