January Theme Poll + Patron Goal Updates

Thank you to everyone who is supporting me throughout December!

It's been one whole year since I started doing homebrew content for 5e and I am so grateful that I continue to receive love and support for doing this at all. A lot of people aren't as lucky as I am.

-----

Thank you to all of my patrons! We also just hit the 50-patron Goal #3 last month (it peaked around 53 or something), so I will be releasing a short adventure set in the Cosmos, sort of in the style of those found in other source books. It should contain a few maps, opportunities for starship combat, and take maybe 4-8 hours to play through. This will take a bit of work and I can't get started on it until January after the holidays, which already is a busy month because I'm recovering from time lost to the holidays.

I'm aiming to complete this before April, and possibly do another Cosmos theme month to coincide with it. If all goes according to schedule, everything Cosmos-related (the new starship rules and the new worlds from Goal #2, the adventure from Goal #3, and two-months' worth of items) will go into one beefy v2 compendium. I already spend pretty much every waking hour on making homebrew stuff, so it's unclear if I can hit that deadline — but if the adventure is only 9-10 pages long, unlike the 40+ page monstrosity that was Goal #2, it will be more likely.

Either way, thank you everyone for your continued support!

Let's take a look at the options for January! As usual, the two most popular options from last month are brought back, and everyone is free to suggest new options you want to see! For the upcoming new years, I'm going to experiment with bringing back some of the old options because I did like them.

  • Pillage & Plunder. Become a pirate. See new crew. Discover new lore. Fight other pirates. Lose a couple limbs. Get a parrot. And then lose your ship to a kraken. Nautical and pirate-themed items galore! Anchors away!

  • Rites of the Infinity Guard. Maintain the finite continuum by eliminating temporal paradoxes - all to ensure the Infinite Paths that defines your universe's timeline will not crumble.

  • The Last Laugh. Why do spectators love the circus? Because it's in tents. This month, the circus, the clowns, the acrobatics, and the beasts come to town.

  • Xan Rockman's Totally Authentic Merchandise. Before he was Xanta, he was Xan Rockman, failed business owner and craftsman. Step back to the past and spring some truly awful items on your players.
