[Quiver] Item - Crossfire

The arbalester readies his modified crossbow, releasing a small torrent of flammable tar onto the bolt. He aims carefully towards the target, but quickly thinks better of it, and holds a torch in front of him. The bolt ignites brilliantly, and he could follow the burning trail as it soars.

One of the earliest weapons I made. It even bears half its name from the Spitfire! This weapon name is just a no-brainer (Crossbow and Fire??) and I could not resist designing something around it. The item art came last though, and I decided to really lean on that "cross" aspect with the double arms. I don't think that technically makes it shoot better or anything, though. *shrug.gif*

I was posting 5 times a week for 2 weeks I had extra content so I figured why not? I'd love to show off the art (at the very least). But should be back to 4 now, unless I get really inspired again.
