A Familiar Wolrd v0.1.0 - Jigsaw Puzzles
I announced it yesterday, and here it is. This is the first release of a new game I'll be putting out.
A few days ago, I came across an underappreciated jigsaw puzzle game made by Ambir. It never really took off, and the developer moved on to different projects. I played a few rounds and thought that there is potential. So I bought the rights to the game.
The goal is to replace the art, add some features and sell the new product on Steam. Ambir didn't do that himself since he created his art in a way where he doesn't officially own it. Luckily, I don't have that problem when I use Daz.
This is an excellent opportunity for me since I can use this game to tell a bit of a story. A Familiar World sounds very similar to A Foreign World, right? That's by design. The puzzles of this game will feature the nine women you already know from my current VN (A Foreign World) in situations that happened back in their world. You could almost look at it as a prologue to my current game.
This feature doesn't exist yet, but I would like you to unlock a short scene every time you finish one of the puzzles.
Currently, there are 13 puzzles that you can play on five different difficulties. Please tell me what you guys think. I appreciate any feedback.
The plan for the future is to change the UI to fit the game setting a little better, to have more puzzles, and to add achievements. Also, I want to add those scenes you unlock by finishing puzzles.

I tried the puzzle which was fun. No scene played after puzzle finished (two women in a hall). My comments: 1) somewhat original, so less competition in this space. Lots of people like games like sudoku, so why wouldn't they like it with nudity at the end? 2) I got annoyed when I had to move a lot of puzzle pieces one step to the left. I recommend you make a function that allows you to double click and auto-select a contiguous partly finished part of the puzzle which the player could then drag and drop. Alternatively, ctrl click multiple pieces.
I haven't created any scenes for when you finished a puzzle yet. This is a very early version to show people what I'm working on. Thank you for the feedback. Just so you know, I probably won't add your second suggestion because I have no idea how to do that, and it would probably take me weeks to figure it out.
