Introducing the Swingtime Skirt

I teased this pattern with the release of the Butterfly Sleeve in October, and I'm now very pleased to formally introduce the Swingtime Skirt. The Swingtime Skirt features shirring at side fronts, which releases into soft folds and adds extra fullness and swish.

I created this skirt pattern a few years ago, and it remains my favourite skirt pattern. Now professionally graded to a multi size pattern in waist sizes 26-36, I'm very excited to share it with you - I hope you love it as much as I do! 

This skirt is designed as a pattern expansion to the Daytripper dress skirt, so if you already have that one printed you need only print the shirred side front gore, although the full skirt is included in the attached printable pattern for convenience.

As this skirt is intended to be paired with a bodice, no waistband is included, but you could always use the waistband from another pattern (such as the Sightseeing skirt), or draft your own.
