PBR Items Add-on: Important Shader Support Information

Many of you have been experiencing inconsistent results when testing the newly released PBR Items add-on (shown above).

After extensive testing, I have confirmed that in order for the PBR Item Add-on to function as intended, it must be used with a shaderpack that supports item PBR - and at the moment, the only known pack that fully supports this feature is BSL.

This isn’t a bug with the add-on itself, and there’s nothing that I can do from the resource pack side. Proper 3D rendering on held and dropped items is a feature that must be implemented by the shaderpack creator.

At this time, if you’d like to use the PBR Items add-on, you’ll need to use it alongside BSL Shaders.

I will continue to monitor support, and if item PBR is added to any other shaderpacks in the future, I will update this information.
