Critical Research Scripts - S1, S2

For ease of access we have compiled scripts for both seasons of Critical Research into one post!

Notes:

Kaitlin and I can remember writing this in our Oxford flat and thinking "Wow, do you think anyone is actually going to hear this?"

We were initially torn between this idea and three other significantly more developed stories. However, for some reason our massive outline of "Story 3: Anthropologist investigates the Fringe undercover, with protection. -Logs/interviews/etc" won out, and thus we started creating our first podcast!

We had originally named the story "Research Proposal" but as we got deeper into production we realized that it sounded really passive and boring.

We wrote part the final episode of Season 1 in the Eagle and Child pub in Oxford, UK. For those not familiar with it, it's the same place where J.R.R. Tolkien would hang out to write and also read passages from his new books with his friends.

We finished the script with no intent of a follow-up season and switched focus to write what would become the first story for "Tales from the Tower." A few months later we were shocked to discover that people actually liked our show and began brainstorming ideas for a sequel.
