The Little Drum Circle that Could
We're about 18 hours into editing the sound effects for episode 210. It's proving to be more time consuming than any episode before (partly because it's 35 minutes, and partly because so much happens at such a wide variety of places).
One of the things that took about 30 minutes of this time was the creation of a silly little background song I've dubbed "the Little Drum Circle That Could."
It was created to sound like a sub-par drum circle by tapping on tables, trash cans, scraping a grate with a hex-tool, thumping a big instrument case, and by playing a limited number of chords on a strum-stick (because there's always one guy at the party who brings a guitar who's not very good).
While not particularly amazing, we thought it'd be amusing for you all to get a bit of insight into the process of what goes into our backgrounds.
